Exciting new details have emerged about the upcoming supernatural horror film starring Isabelle Fuhrman and Michael Rooker, revealing some chilling elements fans will want to watch for. According to Deadline, Fuhrman and Rooker will headline the film titled Izzi, a possession thriller with a supernatural twist. Notably, Fuhrman will portray dual roles as twin sisters in the movie, adding an intriguing layer to the story. Meanwhile, Rooker will take on the role of a local sheriff drawn into the unfolding supernatural chaos.
The plot centers on Jenny, who returns home only to find that her twin sister, Izzi, has been possessed by a malevolent entity and has vanished into the nearby woods. As an ancestral curse long thought buried resurfaces, Jenny teams up with her father, John, and Sheriff Blackstone (played by Rooker) to venture into the cursed forest in a desperate bid to rescue her sister.
Directed by twin brothers Jamie and Jason Neese, who previously served as co-executive producers on Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, Izzi promises a gripping supernatural horror experience. Fuhrman is renowned for her portrayal of Esther in the Orphan horror franchise, as well as roles in The Hunger Games series, the 2021 film Novice, and the Western saga Horizon: An American Saga. Rooker is celebrated for his work in popular franchises such as Guardians of the Galaxy and The Walking Dead, along with notable films like Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986), Slither, Super, and The Suicide Squad.
