It is being reported that Disney is developing a biopic on conservationist, Jane Goodall, which is being penned by The Luminaries writer Eleanor Catton. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Goodall, she has spent the past sixty years studying the social and family interactions of chimpanzees in their natural environment.
“They’re making a film about me with an actress,” Goodall told Deadline. “I’ve seen the first draft of the script and made a lot of comments.”
Jane Goodall will also serve as a producer on the biopic.
