Deadline reports that Zac Efron and Will Ferrell have been cast in a new comedy film from Amazon MGM Studios. At this stage the movie has no title. It will be written and directed by Nicholas Stoller, who recently made You’re Cordially Invited with Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon. According to Deadline the movie “follows a young convict (Efron) fresh out of prison who takes a reality TV courtroom hostage blaming the megalomaniac TV judge (Ferrell) for a past ruling that the convict feels ruined his life.”
A release date for the new Amazon MGM Studios film with Ferrell and Efron has not been announced.
