FX has released the first full trailer for Alien: Earth, the upcoming sci-fi horror series. Alien: Earth is set in the year 2120, two years before the events of 1979’s Alien.
“After Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship collides into Prodigy City,” the official synopsis reads, “Wendy and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined.” The trailer teases the return of a xenomorph that wreaks havoc on the crew trying to tame it.
Alien: Earth will premiere on August 12 on FX.
