A Quiet Place Part III is officially on the horizon, with a confirmed release date and a director closely associated with the franchise. Paramount announced that the third installment will hit theaters on July 9, 2027. Excitingly for fans, John Krasinski—who penned, directed, and starred in the first two films—will return to write and direct this new chapter.
Krasinski shared the update through an Instagram post, revealing the film’s logo teaser alongside the release date. As of now, there is no official casting announcement for A Quiet Place Part III. The original film featured Krasinski, his wife Emily Blunt, and actors Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, who portrayed their children. Both Blunt, Simmonds, and Jupe reprised their roles in the sequel. Since debuting in 2018, the franchise has cemented its status as a horror phenomenon. A follow-up sequel arrived in 2020, and a spin-off titled A Quiet Place: Day One was released in 2024, directed and written by Michael Sarnoski and starring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Djimon Hounsou.
Financially, the franchise has been a major success, earning over $900 million worldwide across all three films. The series’ central premise involves a post-apocalyptic world invaded by alien monsters that are highly sensitive to sound, compelling humanity to remain silent to survive.
