Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Black Rabbit, an upcoming crime thriller centered on two brothers who must collaborate to protect their family business after one becomes entangled with dangerous individuals. The limited series is set to premiere on September 18.
The official synopsis describes the series as: “Set against the vibrant and high-stakes nightlife of New York City, Black Rabbit follows two brothers driven to their limits by family loyalty and the quest for success. Jake Friedken, played by Jude Law, is the charismatic owner of Black Rabbit, a popular restaurant and VIP lounge aiming to be the city’s hottest spot. When his brother Vince, portrayed by Golden Globe winner Jason Bateman, unexpectedly returns to the business, chaos ensues—unearthing old traumas and new threats that threaten to dismantle everything they’ve built. The show offers a fast-paced thrill ride and a deep exploration of how a brotherly bond can break under pressure, risking everything in its orbit.”
The trailer introduces the two main characters, with Bateman as Vince and Law as Jake, highlighting their complex relationship and hinting at the perilous challenges ahead. The cast also features Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Sope Dirisu, Troy Kotsur, Abbey Lee, Chris Coy, Dagmara Dominczyk, Odessa Young, and Robin De Jesus, along with supporting actors Amir Malaklou, Don Harvey, Forrest Weber, Francis Benhamou, Gus Birney, John Ales, and Steve Witting.
Black Rabbit is created by Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, with Bateman directing two episodes. In addition to starring, Bateman and Law serve as executive producers alongside Michael Costigan, Roxie Rodriguez, Jude Law, Ben Jackson, Zach Baylin, Kate Susman, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Andrew Hinderaker, Zac Frognowski, Justin Levy, David Bernon, and Erica Kay.
