GRAMMY-nominated global superstar Demi Lovato is back with her latest single, “Here All Night,” a bold and catchy dance-pop anthem that cements her status as the artist leading the dance music scene this year. Produced by Zhone (known for work with Kylie Minogue, Troye Sivan, and Kesha), the track combines Demi’s powerful vocals with energetic production, creating a euphoric tune perfect for endless nights. In celebration of the release, Demi teamed up once again with renowned director Hannah Lux Davis (“Cool for the Summer,” “Sorry Not Sorry”) to craft a visually stunning music video. The clip features Demi confined in her apartment, ultimately breaking free and letting loose.
Regarding the song’s inspiration, Demi explains, “’Here All Night’ is a breakup song I wrote by channeling a character, and it was so freeing to step into someone else’s story.” She also shares about the music video: “From the moment we finished the song, I knew it needed to be a dance video. It’s about dancing through heartbreak. It’s raw and empowering, with a playful, voyeuristic point of view.” “Here All Night” serves as the second preview from Demi’s highly anticipated ninth studio album, following the sleek and sexy electro-pop lead single “Fast,” which recently reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs Chart.
As previously announced by Rolling Stone, Demi’s ninth album, described as “celebratory dance-pop,” is on the horizon. Her executive producer Zhone praises working with Demi, saying, “It’s been so inspiring to see her continue to level up. She’s a true master in the studio. This album is about letting go of inhibitions, and we had an incredible time creating this music! It really shows in the final product.”
