HBO has released the official trailer for DTF St. Louis, its newest dark comedy miniseries starring Golden Globe winner Jason Bateman (Ozark) and Emmy nominee David Harbour (Stranger Things). The trailer centers on the mysterious death of Harbour’s character, Floyd, who is introduced as a close friend and coworker of Bateman’s Clark. It hints at Clark’s affair with Floyd’s wife and raises questions about his possible involvement in Floyd’s death.
According to the official synopsis, the series “follows a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead.” DTF St. Louis is set to premiere on Sunday, March 1, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with new episodes airing weekly until the series finale on April 12.
The cast also includes Linda Cardellini (Dead to Me) as Carol, Richard Jenkins (The Visitor) as Homer, Joy Sunday (Wednesday) as Jodie, Arlan Ruf as Richard, Peter Sarsgaard (Dopesick), Chris Perfetti (Abbott Elementary), Chastity Dotson (Veronica Mars) as Clara, Wynn Everett (Agent Carter) as Eimy, and others. The series, consisting of seven episodes, is written and directed by showrunner Steven Conrad. It is executive-produced by Conrad, Bateman, Harbour, along with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch for Escape Artists; Molly Allen; Bruce Terris; Michael Nelson; Michael Costigan for Bateman’s Aggregate Films; KC Wenson for Bravo Axolotl; Jennifer Scher for Elephant Pictures; and James Lasdun. The production is handled by MGM Television.
