When his wife, Claira (Lott), suggests an evening at a late-night show, Jason is skeptical—hypnosis seems like a scam. That is, until he witnesses the renowned hypnotist Tim (Piven), who claims he can unlock visions of past lives. A snap of Tim’s fingers transports Jason into the mind of a 1980s serial killer.
