‘A Quiet Place 3’ Sets Cast With Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy Returning

John Krasinski Confirms New Cast for A Quiet Place: Part III

John Krasinski has revealed the next wave of casting for the upcoming horror sequel A Quiet Place: Part III. The director announced that Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian will join returning franchise stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe in the third installment of the hit horror series.

Krasinski shared the news on social media with a photo of scripts bearing each actor’s name. “So proud to be a part of this A Quiet Place family… old and new! Here we go!” he wrote. The post was set to the song “One Last Time” from the musical Hamilton, hinting that the upcoming film may serve as the final chapter in the story of a family surviving in a world invaded by sightless creatures with an extremely sensitive sense of hearing.

Paramount Pictures is set to release A Quiet Place: Part III in theaters on July 30, 2027. Production is scheduled to begin this spring in New York, with Krasinski directing from his own screenplay. He will also produce alongside Allyson Seeger for Sunday Night Productions, which has a first-look deal with the studio. Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form will produce through Platinum Dunes.

Krasinski previously directed the first two films in the franchise, beginning with A Quiet Place and continuing with A Quiet Place Part II. He also appeared in the original film alongside Blunt, Simmonds, and Jupe, while Murphy and Djimon Hounsou joined the cast in the sequel. The franchise later expanded with the prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, directed by Michael Sarnoski and starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. Altogether, the three films have earned more than $900 million worldwide.
