Spider-Man: Brand New Day is gearing up for its highly anticipated trailer with an innovative approach to its release. On Tuesday morning, star Tom Holland announced that the trailer would debut on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, promising an exciting new experience for fans.
In an Instagram video, Holland shared, “Hey, what’s up, guys? It’s Tom here, and we’re working on something incredibly exciting for the release of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer.” He expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from fans since the beginning of the franchise, emphasizing, “Without that incredible community, there would be no Spider-Man.” Holland then revealed that the team is about to do something “that has never been done before” — involving fans in the trailer’s release.
Leading up to the full reveal, selected fans will be releasing short video clips of the new footage, creating a collaborative buildup. Holland explained, “So, to show you our appreciation, we are doing something that has never been done before. Follow along as a brand new day starts across the world, and some of our greatest fans are going to help us release pieces of our new trailer. I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning in New York City. I’m passing it over to the fans. This is all about community. This is all about being together. Let’s go.”
Already, three teaser clips from the trailer have been shared. Two feature action shots of Spider-Man, while the third shows Peter Parker collapsing. Holland returns as the lead in his fourth solo Marvel film as Spider-Man. The cast also includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, and Marvin Jones III. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Producers include Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
