Teaser: First Look at ‘Stop! That! Train!’: RuPaul Stars in New Action Comedy Set for 2026 Release

Bleecker Street has unveiled the official trailer and release date for Stop! That! Train!, an upcoming action comedy featuring Emmy Award winner RuPaul. The trailer offers a sneak peek into the film’s hilarious moments and showcases exciting appearances by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joel McHale, and Raven-Symoné.

According to the official synopsis, the movie follows best friends Tess and DeeDee, who are train stewardesses. They leave their monotonous shifts aboard the Stank Rail to board the glamorous Glamazonian Express. When a disastrous event called ‘Stormaganza’ threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo must team up with the snobbish first-class attendants and President Gagwell to save the day. The film promises a wild ride full of campy humor and action.

Stop! That! Train! is set for a nationwide theatrical release on June 12, 2026. It will face competition at the box office from Steven Spielberg’s star-studded sci-fi film Disclosure Day, which opens the same month. Other major releases scheduled for June include Scary Movie 6, Masters of the Universe, Power Ballad, Toy Story 5, and Supergirl.

Directed by Adam Shankman, the film’s screenplay is written by Christina Friel and Connor Wright. In addition to RuPaul, the cast features Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Latrice Royale, Rachel Bloom, and Matt Rogers. The supporting cast includes Nicole Richie, Michelle Visage, Chris Parnell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Charo, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Natasha Leggero, and Drew Droege. The project is produced by RuPaul, Shankman, Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, and Tom Campbell.
