Rain Spencer, known for her role in The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Ariana Greenblatt, recognized for Barbie, have been cast to star in the upcoming feature film Little Five. The movie is a collaboration between Anne Hathaway’s production company, Somewhere Pictures, and Pigasus Pictures. Ian Samuels will direct the film, with a screenplay penned by Gillian Williams and Paul Shoulberg.
Additional cast members and production details remain under wraps. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Indiana University in the early 1980s and inspired by the legendary Little 500 bicycle race, Little Five tells the story of four unlikely young women who unite in pursuit of an extraordinary dream. As they strive to earn their place in one of America’s most historic collegiate sporting events, they learn that true greatness is achieved through teamwork, and that sometimes, changing history begins with a single team. Based on true events, the film captures an era filled with big dreams, bold risks, unforgettable music, and the women who helped reshape collegiate athletics.
