Will Smith appears to have secured his first co-star for his next project, as sources reveal to Deadline that AnnaSophia Robb, known for her role in I Play Rocky, will join him in the upcoming thriller Supermax. The film is being directed by David Gordon Green and is a joint production of Amazon MGM Studios and Miramax.
In May, Deadline reported that Amazon MGM Studios was nearing an agreement for the worldwide distribution rights, with the film set to be available in over 240 countries and territories via Prime Video. Robb is expected to portray Smith’s young partner as the two detectives delve into the depths of a supermax prison to investigate a mysterious murder.
