“Glitter” delves into the universal experience of lingering grief for those we’ve lost, whether they are no longer with us physically or still present in spirit. The song reflects on the small, everyday moments when we find remnants of loved ones—in a familiar scent, a fleeting memory, or a familiar object—and how these moments serve as gentle reminders that our loved ones are always with us in spirit.
This poignant new single is Sloan’s first release since her 2024 project, Me Again, and it’s set to be featured on her upcoming album.
