Russell Crowe is set to collaborate with Priyanka Chopra Jonas in an upcoming science-fiction movie, marking their first on-screen pairing. Crowe, an acclaimed actor and Academy Award winner, will star alongside Chopra Jonas, who is also an award-winning actor, producer, and bestselling author.

Crowe has received three Oscar nominations, with his performance in Gladiator earning him the Best Actor award. Chopra Jonas, apart from her acting career, has achieved success as a producer and author, with her recent work including the Prime Video film The Bluff, which debuted at number one worldwide.
The film, titled Bluefly, is directed by Nimród Antal, renowned for his work on Predators. The screenplay is written by Carlyle Eubank, William Eubank, and David Frigerio. The project is produced by a team of executive producers including Lia Buman, Guy Davies, RuthAnne Frigerio, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and others.
The story follows a grieving UN translator in the Congo who is pulled into a covert black-ops mission to recover a mysterious downed aircraft that is not supposed to exist. As the team ventures upriver through militia-controlled territory, they realize the mission is far more dangerous than anticipated, and the craft’s recovery becomes a descent into the unknown with potential deadly consequences.
Delphine Perrier, COO of Highland Film Group, described the film as “heart-pounding entertainment with a complex story,” promising unexpected plot twists. She also praised Antal’s direction and the cast’s performances, expressing excitement to present this thrilling project to a global audience.
