Prime Video has released the first trailer for Neagley, its upcoming thriller series and spin-off of Reacher. The trailer arrived on August 12, 2026, coinciding with the release of Reacher Season 4 and offering fans their first extended look at Maria Sten’s return as Frances Neagley.
Sten leads the series as Frances Neagley, a Chicago-based private investigator and former member of the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. After learning that a close friend from her past has died under suspicious circumstances, Neagley sets out to uncover the truth and bring those responsible to justice.
What begins as a personal investigation soon leads Neagley into a much more dangerous conspiracy. The trailer suggests that her friend’s death may be connected to a secretive cult operating from the shadows. Determined to uncover the organization’s activities, Neagley draws on the skills she developed during her military career and her time working alongside Jack Reacher.
Alan Ritchson will reprise his role as Jack Reacher in the spin-off. Although Reacher will appear throughout the eight-episode series, the story primarily focuses on Neagley as she leads the investigation into her friend’s death. The series is based on characters created by Lee Child for his Jack Reacher novels.
The official synopsis reads:
“Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110th Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
In addition to Sten and Ritchson, the cast includes Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole, Jasper Jones as Keno, and Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow.
Neagley is being produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. Nick Santora serves as creator and executive producer, with Lee Child, Sam Hill, Don Granger, Lisa Kussner, and Adam Higgs also executive producing.
Neagley is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on September 16, 2026.
