Scarlet Stallone Teams Up With ‘Fears to Fathom’ Creator for Film and TV Adaptation

Scarlet Stallone’s SRYN Productions has acquired the option rights to the popular psychological horror video game franchise Fears to Fathom, with plans to develop the property for film and television alongside its creator, Mukul Negi, better known as Rayll.

Launched in 2021, Fears to Fathom is an anthology series featuring standalone psychological horror stories inspired by frightening real-life experiences. Instead of relying on supernatural monsters or complex fictional mythology, the games build tension through ordinary situations that gradually spiral into terrifying encounters.

The franchise currently includes six installments: Home Alone, Norwood Hitchhike, Carson House, Ironbark Lookout, Woodbury Getaway and Scratch Creek. Each title follows a different protagonist as they navigate unsettling circumstances that feel disturbingly close to reality.

Since its debut, the franchise has attracted a significant international fan base. The first installment, Home Alone, has surpassed 2.3 million downloads on Steam, while the subsequent paid installments have collectively sold more than 1.25 million copies.

Stallone expressed her enthusiasm for the project, highlighting her long-standing passion for video games and her connection to the franchise.

“I’ve been playing video games since before I could read, and the first time I played Fears to Fathom, I was hooked. I’ve played every one since,” Stallone said. She added that the games stand out because their grounded storytelling makes the horror feel genuinely possible, describing her collaboration with Rayll as a strong creative partnership.

Rayll also reflected on the franchise’s growth, describing Fears to Fathom as a personal project that has evolved into a global phenomenon. He said Stallone immediately understood that the series’ appeal extends beyond its scares, with its sense of realism and relatable situations playing a central role in its success.

The creator expressed excitement about working with Stallone and SRYN Productions to bring the franchise’s distinctive atmosphere and authenticity to film and television.

Beyond her work as a producer, Stallone is an actor who portrays Spencer in Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ crime drama Tulsa King. She has also written several original screenplays and is developing a range of character-driven film and television projects through SRYN Productions.

The company focuses on distinctive intellectual property and emerging creative voices, making Fears to Fathom its latest opportunity to translate an established gaming property into a new storytelling medium.

While specific details about the planned adaptations have yet to be announced, the partnership aims to preserve the franchise’s defining appeal: psychological tension rooted in everyday situations that can quickly become nightmares.
