More than three decades after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, a new Peacock documentary is revisiting one of the most controversial criminal cases in American history. The newly released trailer for OJ’s Accomplice raises fresh questions about the possibility that O.J. Simpson may not have acted alone on the night of June 12, 1994.
The upcoming two-part documentary takes another look at the events surrounding the murders, challenging the long-standing assumption that Simpson was the sole perpetrator. Through previously discussed evidence, eyewitness accounts and interviews with individuals connected to the investigation, the series explores theories that have continued to generate debate for years.
Among those featured are Kato Kaelin, who was staying at Simpson’s property around the time of the murders, and members of Nicole Brown Simpson’s family, including her sister. Their perspectives offer another dimension to a case that continues to captivate public attention.
The trailer also features commentary from several figures familiar with the original investigation, including lead defence investigator Pat McKenna, lead detective Tom Lange and former DEA agent Robert Brisolari.
Perhaps most controversially, OJ’s Accomplice examines claims suggesting a possible connection between Simpson and other individuals, including an escaped mobster and a marijuana-smuggling drug dealer. The documentary promises to investigate whether evidence pointing towards a potential accomplice was overlooked during the original proceedings.
Opening with the unforgettable not-guilty verdict from The People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson, the trailer immediately brings viewers back to a moment that divided the nation and became one of the most closely followed trials in modern American history.
Rather than simply revisiting familiar details, the documentary aims to examine unanswered questions and alternative theories that have persisted for more than 30 years. Importantly, the theories explored in the series remain allegations and questions for investigation, rather than established facts.
OJ’s Accomplice arrives on Peacock on November 1, 2026. The two-part documentary looks set to reignite conversations surrounding a case whose legacy continues to provoke discussion, debate and controversy.
