There’s been no confirmed release date for Wiz Khalifa’s new studio album “Rolling Papers 2” but the Taylor Gang rapper did gift his fans with a new track from the album entitled “Something New” which features hip hop artist Ty Dolla $ign. In the new track Wiz and the R&B crooner talk about experiencing a new love, telling the ladies what would happen should she leave her current man and give them a chance. Ty Dolla $ign laces his smooth vocal over this Yung Berg produced track singing that he “can’t stop loving you since I got a taste of your love,” and she needs look no further.
“Something New” comes on the heels of Wiz and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” dethroning Psy’s 2012 “Gangnam Style” as the most-viewed YouTube video. In June, Wiz Khalifa blessed us with two EPS, “Pre-Rolleds” and “Bong Rips”, to hold fans over as they wait for his new album “Rolling Papers 2”. Earlier this year, Wiz asked his Twitter followers in a poll, “Should Rolling Papers 2 be a double album?,” with 82% of followers hitting the “Yes, I’d smoke to that” button.

You get nostalgia or you get a sense of individuality” Brown stated.

Songstress Teenear recruits Fetty Wap for her summer-ready single “Love Me or Leave Me.” Teenear wouldn’t be the most noticed artist on the music scene at the moment but maybe with this new track thats all about to change. This Miami native provides an ultimatum for her lover with smooth vocals and infectious melodies over bouncy production by Louis Bell, whose credits include Post Malone’s smash hit single “Congratulations.”
Rapper Fetty Wap lends his own unique catchy sound. “We can do whatever you like now, baby,” sings the rapper, who incorporates some of his signature ad-libs on the dance-ready R&B-meets-pop banger. The song’s overall message was important aspect for Teenear, who told website the Rap-Up that she meant every word. “I recorded this song with the mindset of ‘I have too much going on for me to waste time or play games. I promise that there’s someone waiting by to take your place,’” she explained. “So when I say love me or leave me, I mean it!”
“Love Me Or Leave Me” is available on ITunes now.
From R&B bangers to a little bit of House, DJ Alex Adair has released his new single “Casual”. When Alex Adair unassumingly released his Marvin Gaye sampling single, “Make Me Feel Better,” no one could have expected it to have quite such an instant reaction. Gathering momentum from support on BBC Radio 1’s daytime playlist, hitting the UK official Top 15 singles chart and clocking up millions upon millions of streams and downloads, it was undoubtedly a milestone moment for the young producer.
Probably one of the most poptastic songs I’ve heard in the last few months, as soon as the melody hits you, you can’t help but catch some summer vibes. The lyrical content matches the mood pretty perfectly too, encapsulating the essence of a fun summer fling and matching it with light melody. Without a doubt, Alex Adair is one to watch, and the song “Casual” might just be enough to casually get him onto the charts.
Pink has been no stranger in embarking on hitting the number one spot on the charts. And for another time around she has done it again, within minutes of releasing her first non-soundtrack single in five years, she was No. 1 and No. 2 on the Australian iTunes chart with both the clean and explicit versions of the new single “What About Us”. It also managed to notch the No. 1 spot in the US, UK and dozens of other countries. Her new forthcoming album entitled “Beautiful Trauma” is due out October 13th but still managed to hit the number one spot again on the pre-order chart two months from it’s release.
As she continues her comeback to the stage eight months after the birth of her son Jameson with a series of festival performances in the US, UK and Europe, singer P!nk gave fans more details of her much anticipated seventh album, including the 13 tracks she has spent years labouring over. “I could not be more excited right now. It’s been a while, and I’m grateful for all the years we’ve had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you.”
“What About Us” takes us on a different journey of sound from P!nks previous works giving us an epic slice of electro piano pop reminiscent of Coldplay. The song depicts social commentary on the state of the world and a rallying call for change. Pink’s first album since 2012, will feature 13 tracks and an esteemed cast of co-writers including Swedish hitmaker Max Martin, Lorde and Taylor Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff, songwriter-turned-chart-topper Julia Michaels.
