New Tracks! August continues to deliver the goods…

Fifth Harmony topped the charts yet again releasing there new single “Angel”. It marks there first debut at number 1 on the Billboard + Twitter top tracks, which is the second leader on the list, after there single “Worth It” climbed it back in 2015. Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks is basically a weekly ranking of the most shared and/or mentioned songs on Twitter in the U.S.. “Angel” was released commercially on radio and audio streaming on August 10th, with the video being released the following day and already created a lot of buzz on social media. The video is set in a nightmare where the ladies exact revenge on someone who hurt them, and the clip has accomplished a massive 8.5 million views already.

“Angel” along with there first single “Down” will both appear on Fifth Harmony’s second studio album that’s self titled and due out August 25th. The single is produced by Skrillex and Pooh Bear and show cases a different direction for the group from there previous pop releases. Despite Camila Cabello’s exit in December 2016, the members of Fifth Harmony exude confidence in their second music video as a foursome. “Angel” is available now.

Another artist who’s made a comeback this week is rapper Young Thug. He recently connected with rappers Migos on the song “Clientele”, and now he joins forces with the Atlanta born rapper T.I. on the new single entitled “For The Weekend”. It looks like this track was a leftover from Thug’s most recent release “Beautiful Thugger Girls” which dropped a few weeks back. What to expect? Well the song is a very laid back chilled hip hop song that has both rappers describing there lavish weekends. “For The Weekend” is available for free via soundcloud.

If you’re a fan of Pia Mia then you’ll be a fan of her new single. After recording a cover of Kaskade’s “Disarm You”, the sexy songstress has returned with Jeremih and a sexy single entitled “I’m A Fan”. Over island-ready production, the pop songstress sings about her obsession. The video for “I’m a Fan” was shot in Los Angeles and showcases Pia Mia spending some quality time with her crew at a house in the hills. In the video you can also see Pia’s incredible dance moves that her young fan’s will no doubt try and duplicate. Jeremih comes along for the party and there on screen chemistry matches there vocal chemistry so well.

Pia’s debut album is still awaiting a release date. Earlier this month, she told fans that she’s “had an album ready for over a year.” In 2014, she opened up about the highly-anticipated LP the website the Rap-Up saying “It’s gonna be rhythmic pop, I really like to do that because I’m able to lean more towards the urban side, I’m able to do more pop, and I’m able to do ballads also, so I’m kinda able to touch everywhere.” Pia’s versatility to get amongst a mixture of genre’s will make her debut album a very successful one. “I’m A Fan” featuring Jeremih is available now.

Justin Bieber has had an absolute brilliant last two years. Coming off the highly successful album and tour for “Purpose”, he’s also been lighting 2017 up featuring on the smash hit single “I’m The One” with DJ Khaled, and making an appearance on the Daddy Yankee track “Despacito”. But third time might be even more lucky for Bieber with the release of his brand new single with producer Bloodpop called “Friends”. This energetic new track has all the makings of a Biebs hit, from its addictive hook to its club-worthy, electro-pop sound the new direction we’ve come used to from Justin over the last two years. The dance themed songs have worked well for Bieber, teaming up with the likes of DJ Snake, Major Lazer and Skillrex to make chart topping hits.

Bloodpop and Bieber previously teamed up on the “Purpose” single and hit “Sorry.” This is the singer’s first solo release since the 2015 album, though he has had two Number One collaborations already this year. The track’s lyric video was unleashed today and cuts between dozens of photographs of raging parties, beaches and a whole lot of pizza. Throughout the Dan Streit-directed visual, the lyrics about making amends with an ex-lover come in through photos of stickers placed on railings, walls and cars.

For fans of the ‘Biebs’ you will love this single as we all highly anticipate the announcement of a new album. “Friends” is available now.

Rapper Gucci Mane announced his next project on Thursday night. The rap stars new album entitled “Mr. Davis” became available for pre-order on ITunes and is listed as being released on September 15th. For his fans and as a preview of the album Gucci released a sneak peak track called “I Get The Bag” featuring Migos. The “Mr Davis” project will also feature previously released tracks “Make Love” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Tone It Down” featuring Chris Brown. Other artists announced for the album include The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Slim Jxmmi, Young Dolph, and more.

If “I Get The Bag” is anything to go by we can expect this project to make some waves in the hip hop world. “I Get The Bag” is available now.

The Justin Bieber producer Bloodpop seems to be working his magic everywhere lately. He teamed up with the indie sisters of HAIM to remix there single “Little Of Your Love” which is taken from there sophomore album “Something To Tell You”. Bloodpop has a galaxy of artists he has worked his magic on including Lady Gaga, Madonna and Charli XCX just to name a few and also worked on HAIM’s opening track for there album “Want You Back”.  BloodPop transforms HAIM’s addictive pop-rock track into an indie-electronic pop medley that is impossible not to dance to. HAIM first debuted “Little Of Your Love” when they came to Saturday Night Live in May, ahead of their highly anticipated sophomore album which came out early last month.

The five piece band known as Grizfolk dropped a new single this week. The band consisting of members Adam Roth, Sebastian Fritze, Fredrik Eriksson, Brendan James and Bill Delia. The track entitled “In My Arms” features Jamie N Commons, and is the band’s first independent release following their record, “Waking Up The Giants” which came out last year on Virgin Records. Not much has been heard of about Grizfolk but them teaming up with Jamie N Commons might give them the exposure they need right now. If you are a fan of alternative music then be sure to check this one out. “In My Arms” is available now.
