November Brings New Music From Lauren Jauregui, Tory Lanez, Noah Cyrus And More

Producer and DJ Steve Aoki is back with yet another attempt to get his hands into the pop market as he teams up with Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui for the new single “All Night”. The single follows off the success Aoki had with his album “Kolony” in which he enlisted some music heavy weights including Gucci Mane, Migos and T-Pain to name a few. Previously Aoki released the first single from his forthcoming project, in which he teamed up with Louis Tomlinson for “Just Hold On” which peaked at number 52 on the Billboard 100. Since Jauregui teamed up with Marian Hill back in 2016, the Fifth Harmony member has been popping up everywhere including on boyfriend Ty Dolla $ign’s song “In Your Phone” and Halsey’s “Strangers”. In October with an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jauregui spoke about her roots and how her experiences have helped her grow saying “My main piece of advice that I’ll leave here is to get to know yourself, Truly confront the true you. It will be painful and you will lose parts of yourself you thought you needed to hold onto. Let them go. You’ll find your purpose.”

Listen to “All Night” below.

Tory Lanez is due to drop his new album “Memories Don’t Die” any day now, but whilst building the anticipation the singer released yet another song from the album entitled “I Sip”. Lanez’s previously released two singles prior to this one which contained an array of different sounds, there was the trap banger “Shooters” and the Caribbean inspired “Skrt Skrt”. Just recently Lanez also dropped two collaborations he did with R&B singer PARTYNEXTDOOR, and it seems there’s no slowing the singer down. “Memories Don’t Die” is a follow-up to last year’s album “I Told You”, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. In June, he discussed the recording process, tweeting: “I forgot how nice I am with a pen and paper. WOW .. album 2 is not a fuck around ting.” I really like this song, and proves just why I’m such a massive fan of Tory Lanez. “I Sip” is out now.

Norwegian DJ Matoma has people lusting over his brand new synth collaboration with pop artist Noah Cyrus on the song “Slow”. It’s the first single from the DJ’s forthcoming album “One In A Million”, and Matoma hopes to evolve from the pop sound he delivered on his last LP. Matoma announced the track and collaboration with Cyrus in an interview earlier in the week with Billboard magazine and he had nothing but good things to say about the songstress saying “She has so much soul and personality. I got in touch to work on a song with her, and we worked back and forth while I was in Norway and she was on the road. This idea for ‘Slow’ came together, and it felt super special,”. With every new release Noah Cyrus seems to establish herself as a new and upcoming pop artist with a wide range of versatility. “Slow” is out now and we expect big things for the single.

I’ve always been a massive fan of R&B artist Miguel and his latest offering continues to prove why, as “Pineapple Skies” was dropped this week from his forthcoming album “War & Leisure”. The single is a slight diversion from his political songwriting with the artist claiming “Everything’s gon’ be alright” over a slow jam instrumental. Miguel over the years has experimented largely with different sounds on his projects and he continues to push the boundaries further on “Pineapple Skies”. One thing that remains constant is Miguel’s silky smooth vocals over an 80’s inspired production. It doesn’t contain the banger feel his previous song “Sky Walker” had but it’s another single that shows off what Miguel does best. “War & Leisure” is due for release on December 1st and I gotta say judging by this track it’s gonna be a good album.

“Still Think I’m Nothing” is the brand new song from rapper 50Cent which features singer Jeremih. It’s the duo’s second song together, and this one is produced by Bongo The Way and has Jeremih on the hook and vintage 50 on the verses. It’s been a long time waiting for 50’s new album which will be his first release since 2014’s “Animal Ambition”. There’s not much to say other then if your a fan of 50’s music you’ll probably be a fan of this. Another rapper making a name for himself is Louis B. and he makes a big mark in the rap scene with his new track “Celebrate” which features rapper Young Thug. This song is hot, but probably not hot enough to make a splash on the Billboard charts, but enough to cause a buzz on radio airplay. “Still Think I’m Nothing” and “Celebrate” are out now.
