Atlantic records group Why Don’t We has released their highly anticipated, debut full length album, “8 LETTERS”. The album has immediately shot to #1 on iTunes’ Overall Album chart ahead of artists like Ariana Grande, Drake, and BTS. The third single off the album is the title track, and was preceded by the popular singles, “Hooked” and “Talk” and these infectious songs have collectively garnered over 43 million streams on Spotify alone in under 3 months. Their videos have logged an additional 38 million views on YouTube, making them one of the biggest acts in pop music this year.

The record features eight songs, and it’s just what their fans have been waiting for. “We hope this album makes you feel,” the group tweeted. “Whether it be happiness, sadness or excitement, we hope you all enjoy every second of it. Our lives and our careers so far have led up to this moment.” It didn’t take long before the hashtag #8LettersOutNow started trending with fans creating a frenzy over the album, tweeting things like “I just listened to 8 Letters for the first time and I’m speechless,” someone wrote in all caps. “It’s so good and I’m so proud of my boys.” Another added, “Its so hard to choose my favorite song. I’m just so hooked.”

Jonah Frantzich, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery and Zachary Herron celebrated the release of their debut with a series of high profile TV performances, including a special Labor Day concert in New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza for NBC’s TODAY, set for September 3rd. The band will then visit MTV’s TRL on Monday, September 10th, and CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday, September 11th. It’ll be the much needed promotion this band needs to catapult them from small pop act, to world class boyband.

The group has amassed than 200 million global audio streams, 3 million Instagram followers, and total You Tube views exceeding 250 million with over 2 million subscribers in under 2 years, Why Don’t We has become one of pop music’s biggest breakout stories. Ranging in ages from 17-20 years old, they’ve put out four EPs in under 12 months and have shared the stage with Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Camilla Cabello and more. The band has sold out back-to-back North American headlining tours, and have been featured in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, and TIME among others.

“8 Letters” is not only a catchy and infectious single, it’s a great introduction to an album that has started an incredible and bright future for this quintet. First we had the Backstreetboys, then *NSYNC, which was followed by One Direction, and it’s clear to see that Why Don’t We are set to make the same mark on the pop world. Be sure to check this album out on all major platforms.
