The Queen Of EDM Crossovers, Ellie Goulding New Song “Close To Me”

Ellie Goulding is back! She has finally released her highly anticipated new single “Close to Me”, which features Diplo and Swae Lee. The new track marks the first from the British singer-songwriter since the release of her last studio album, “Delirium”, in 2015. In that time span, Goulding has collaborated with EDM producer Kygo, and shared covers of the Christmas carol “O Holy Night” and Don McLean’s classic “Vincent.”

“Close to Me” is a love song that puts Ellie in a place where she excels, in front of an electronic beat. It’s a little bit softer then her past EDM bangers, but still manages hit the musical sweet spot. Swae Lee is smooth on his verse, and Goulding is as magnetic as ever.

There’s not much else to say here other then we’re glad to see this female musical powerhouse back. “Close To Me” is out now.
