Making her breakthrough in to the UK, the pounding drums, maracas and slinky horns on ‘Call Ya’ give this record all the feels of the Mediterranean. Produced and co-written by A.M. SNiPER, the record is vibrant, sexy and embodies everything that you can come to expect of Eleni Foureira’s music and demeanor.
Spanning a world of languages and cultures, Eleni Foureira’s catalogue is confidently diverse and whilst there are many other multilingual artists releasing music, it is her self-assertion and hit records that are the reason she is representing the future of global pop.

Charlie Freeman, better known as FREEMAN, and  his new single, “London Nights” ahead of his sophomore album, Love, due out Setpember 30. In 2018,  FREEMAN released his debut album Truth, which was recorded live at vintage studio Eastcote using a tape and analogue set up, adding to FREEMAN’s authentically classic sound. The first five singles from Truth have all picked up BBC radio play, including a live session at BBC London and “BBC featured artist of the week.”

The new album recalls themes of the 60s and 70s free love movement and encapsulates the bittersweet nature of romance and heartbreak. “London Nights” was written during a writing session with Freeman’s Producer and band mate Jamie Brown – it merges nostalgia with the present, marrying retro vibes with modern edges.  “Whether he’s channeling Jagger, Dylan, Petty, Bowie, or whoever; he’s doing it damn well.” (Alternative Addiction)  The lyrics follow the narrative of feeling isolated and alone in a city filled with people, until the perfect person comes around to help ease the pain.

Freeman says “The opening riff for “London Nights” flew in from the ether and for weeks after we couldn’t stop singing it. Soon after that riff had arrived, Jamie had jumped on the stand-up piano in his living room and I was throwing out a verse idea which immediately stuck.

Lyrically, I wanted to capture the irony of the big city, a metropolis literally packed full of people, that can nevertheless remain one of loneliest places in the world. Meeting someone special in amongst the madness and the crowds can be tough. We’re all looking for that special connection. This song is about loneliness being replaced by joy; about a bad, mad world becoming much more forgiving upon making a special connection. A true friend. A true love. A song about overcoming fear and letting in the love.”

Lucy & La Mer is the LA-based indie project of singer/songwriter Lucy LaForge. Known for her bright melodies and disarming lyrics, Lucy wrote her debut EP Little Spoon while living aboard a sailboat after a bad breakup. The folk pop EP charted on College Radio in 2015, followed by a national tour and 2 semi-finalist spots in the International Songwriter Contest.

After landing in LA, Lucy began performing live with a full band and caught the attention of major press like the LA Times. Lead by Lucy’s welcoming stage presence and unmistakable attire (the band wears colorful bowties and decorates the stage), their live shows have gained attention for their interactive audience participation and focus on community activism.

They’ve hosted fundraising concerts for LA’s LGBT Center (the “Love is Gay” event) and shocked their crowd at Lucy’s Locks of Love benefit when Lucy cut 15-inches of her hair off on stage to be donated to the cause.

The Huffington Post called their single Honey, Put Your Weapons Down the “perfect indie pop anthem” and their release “Rebel Babe” has taken listeners by surprise with it’s booming chorus and liberating message. “Rebel Babe” premiered on Billboard.com, with a powerful music video about binary thinking and its effect on our beliefs around sexuality and gender.

Lucy has shared the stage with everyone from electronic artist Moby, folk sirens Joseph, to emo rockers Bayside. She is endorsed by Kala Brand Ukuleles and stays close to her fans by by live-streaming every weekend on the band’s facebook page. Her message is about positive self-belief, self-care, and honest self expression.

Lucy & La Mer, just released via Billboard a brand new single entitled ‘Blue Dress’. The single promotes bisexual visibility. The story is about discovering one’s bisexuality and the “lightbulb” crush that begins bisexual exploration in a positive, fun aesthetic.

The debut album from Toronto’s Freddie Future (FF) is the story of a breakup in slow motion, but it didn’t start out that way. Working alongside Fox Sounds’ Derek Hoffman (The Elwins, Ralph), the seasoned songwriters began to flesh out the tracks together around beats & keyboard loops that Derek had been working on. They would write and track tunes in the same day, a process Freddie appreciated for its cathartic nature. It became clear that this narrative needed a new name to represent itself. Freddie Future was born. He’s currently sharing the dreamy and funky new single “Like It Never Happened”. Listen to the epic track below!

“Dazed” is the brand new track out now from SAENS. On the single SAENS said; I wrote the lyrics for this song, and produced it alongside Max-Antoine Gendron. We always keep our recording sessions very private. We write everything at his house in his home studio. I’m not a fan of big studios for writing sessions – I think it puts too much pressure on the creative flow to manifest itself. Ultimately, all you need is a computer, basic instruments, and a mic. The rest is bullshit, especially nowadays with so much technology at our fingertips. Max-Antoine and I never come in with a specific goal in mind. We usually talk for a while before actually getting down to writing, letting our instincts and energy guide us. I think it’s important that we’re in sync, and feel comfortable enough to share and exchange. It makes everything more special and personal. I want people to connect with how I felt. Combined with the beat’s sweet groove and positive energy, “Dazed” is an emotional yet provocative tune”.

Believing in; music is the ‘vibration of time’, Islandman is searching for new exotic sound spaces each performance, and design a joyful experience for the audience. Started as Istanbul based producer ‘Tolga Böyük’s solo project, Performing as a trio of multi-instrumentalists, bringing together dancefloor beats with ‘Anatolian psychedelic’ oriented guitar and synth riffs.

Now the group has a brand new track out called ‘Dimitro’. In a press release the band described the song stating; “The song itself is a traditional wedding song and has it has its own dance movements, I wanted to combine it with 808 drums and bass to make it a slow motion dance track keeping the vocals raw and ritualistic feeling, I think the track gives a mood of a big circle of people holding hands and dancing like a modern folklore dance tribe.”
