INsider’s Guide: Scenic Route to Alaska, Modern Leisure, Casely, Rozette…

They dropped two acclaimed LPs – 2018’s Tough Luck and 2016’s Long Walk Home – that weave memorable melodies and catchy vocals through compelling, musically-rich arrangements and earned a slew of awards and accolades on their backs. Here  is a buzz-worthy new sound from the band Modern Leisure. They have just revealed the new single, “Do You Find” !

Listen via Spotify:

Modern Leisure is the musical project of Denver native, Casey Banker. The project began in 2016 as a vehicle for Banker’s personal songwriting after departing from his former band, Shady Elders. The songs of Modern Leisure take personal stories and weaves them into ebullient indie-pop. After the 2018 debut release of “Super Sad Rom Com,” Banker immediately jumped back into the studio to begin working on a new set of songs that would form a new Modern Leisure EP. While the subject of the debut album depicted a nostalgic reflection of his life in his 20’s, this latest Modern Leisure EP is comprised of themes and events more direct to Banker’s experiences within the past year. As a fitting entry into a new decade, Banker moves forward with the clearer vision of himself as he takes agency over his life pursuit. The veteran songwriter now finds himself living in the present, realizing the things that are most important to him: love, truth, and acceptance. Expected to be released in the Fall of 2020, “Another Good Time” sees Modern Leisure synthesizing old and new sounds in a dramatic and aesthetically pleasing way.

Here is the latest singles from acclaimed Pop artist Casely who is making waves with his new double release, “Never Be Alone” and “Rude Boy Summer.”

Singer, songwriter and producer Casely has released the tracks via Tuff Gong International. No denying—2020 has already been a helluva year. But Rozette isn’t falling back, and now, neither will you. Her second single this year, “Fallback” is the inspiring, powerful, emotional and heartening LGBTQ2+ anthem we all need. On the heels of sassy “Bite”, the self-love anthem that cat-walked onto the scene this spring, Fallback shows off Rozette’s tender side while staying true to her primordial power. Glam, meet grit—shine, meet love.

In her own words:

“The first time I heard the rough mix of Fallback in my car, I just turned it up and sobbed. This is exactly the song I wanted to make, and needed to make. Fallback is my tribute to all the people in my life that make the world more colourful. To anyone who has had to fight to be seen and
heard – especially the LGBTQ2+ community – this is for you. Shout out to my producer and co-writer of this song for believing in, and really running with my concept.”
