Trailer: With Music From Finneas and Billie Eilish, HBO MAX Brings Us Megan Park’s Directorial Debut ‘The Fallout’

The Fallout is a high school drama film written and directed by Megan Park in her feature directorial debut. The movie coming to HBO Max January 27th stars Jenna Ortega as Vada Cavell, a high-school student who navigates significant emotional trauma following a school shooting. The film also stars Maddie Ziegler, Shailene Woodley, Julie Bowen, John Ortiz, Niles Fitch, and Will Ropp in supporting roles. The score is done by American musician and actor Finneas O’Connell.

The trailer, which opens with a trigger warning, sees Vada (Jenna Ortega) and Mia (Maddie Ziegler) meeting in a school restroom while a shooting erupts in the hallways. As the haunting vocals of Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over” play in the background.
