Sydney Sweeney Joins Dakota Johnson in Marvel’s ‘Madame Web’

Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has official joined Marvel’s latest film ‘Madame Web’, alongside Dakota Johnson. Sweeney posted a screenshot of a Deadline article to her Instagram today announcing that she is set to star opposite Johnson. A Sony Pictures spinoff of the MCU, ‘Madame Web’ is based on the character of the same name from the Spider-Man comics. Madame Web is a clairvoyant mutant who predicts the fates of Spider-themed heroes, and who trains multiple generations of “Spider-Woman” heroes.

There’s no word just yet on who Sweeney has been casted to play, right now the rumors are either Black Cat or Gwen Stacey. We’ll bring you more as it comes to light.
