The Hollywood Reporter has released an article stating that Matt Reeves could be expanding ‘The Batman’ universe. The news comes courtesy of a new overall report on DC’s projects at Warner Bros. Discovery, with Borys Kit noting that Reeves is looking to extend ‘The Batman’ universe, more then just the one Penguin series. The report specifically mentions that Reeves has begun meeting with writers and directors to discuss movies or series focused on the rogue’s gallery from Batman’s history.

While nothing has been confirmed, discussions are in early stages and there has been mention of focusing on Villains like Scarecrow, Clayface, and even Professor Pyg. Up next though for Matt Reeves will be the limited series based on Colin Farrell’s Penguin from ‘The Batman’.
