Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are rumored to in the box seats for the leading roles in Sony Pictures upcoming film adaptation of It Ends with Us, based on Colleen Hoover’s romance novel of the same name. Lively and Baldoni are set to play the respective roles of Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid. The film will be directed by Baldoni from a screenplay written by Christy Hall. The actor and director acquired the rights to the novel in 2019 with Wayfarer Studios.
The book’s official synopsis reads: “Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up — she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.
