Jodie Comer In Talks To Star In Amazon’s ‘Blade Runner 2099’ Series

While a lot if being kept under wraps for Amazon’s upcoming series ‘Blade Runner 2099’, we have recently learned that Jodie Comer is in talks to star in the series. During The Hot Mic, Jeff Sneider mentioned that he heard Comer had been in talks to star in the series. He said that since she enjoyed working with Ridley Scott on ‘The Last Duel‘, Comer was eager to work with him again.

Amazon Studios officially ordered the upcoming live-action TV adaptation of Blade Runner 2099 last year and will see the series take place within the franchise’s universe. Original director Ridley Scott is currently attached to the project as an executive producer, and will also direct some of the episodes. All we know currently is that this show will take place 50 years after the sequel.
