Next ‘Ghostbusters’ Film Begins Production with Exclusive Set Photo

Sony Pictures has confirmed that production on the upcoming sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife has officially started. An exclusive set photo was revealed on their twitter page today with writer-director Gil Kenan with executive producer Jason Reitman. The set photo also confirmed the current working title of, ‘Firehouse’.

The film is still scheduled to arrive in theaters later this year on December 20, 2023. Original cast members including Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, and Mckenna Grace are all returning.
