Trailer: The Oprah-Produced Musical Movie ‘The Color Purple’

‘The Color Purple’ trailer has been released ahead of the musical movie adaptation.The cast includes Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, and Halle Bailey. It’s set to hit theatres Christmas Day.

“a musical adaptation of Alice Walker’s novel about the life-long struggles of an African-American woman living in the south during the early 1900s.”, reads the synopsis.

The Color Purple will be produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.
