Deadline has reported that Hugh Grant is currently in talks for the leading role in A24’s next horror film called Heretic. The movie is from the co-writers of ‘A Quiet Place’ and the guys who penned Adam Drivers film ’65’, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

Heretic is going to be written and directed by both Beck and Woods. Beck and Woods also served as executive producers in 20th Century Studios’ film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Boogeyman, so they have a solid history of the horror genre.

The movie will reportedly follow the story of “two young women of faith who are lured into a cat-and-mouse game in the home of an eccentric man.”
