Details On Netflix and Adam Sandler’s Upcoming Card Collecting Movie

The second movie project between Uncut Gems’ Josh Safdie and Adam Sandler will begin production on September 25. This comes after nearly a year since the sports card collecting movie was acquired by Netflix, where Sandler currently has a four-picture deal.

The movie will star Adam Sandler, Ben Affleck, Megan Thee Stallion, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Steve Harvey.

“Set in the world of high-end sports card collecting in the 1990s, a retired Baseball pitcher (Affleck) attempts a comeback as a sports memorabilia agent (Sandler) attempts to capitalize on his success,” reads the synopsis. “Megan Thee Stallion is said to play Affleck’s girlfriend.”
