Indie rock singer-songwriter, Kath Myers is thrilled to release her new single “Come Through” that is out now. “Come Through” is off her new album Bad TV to be released to July 21st. Recently she released the titled track as the first single.
Kath says, “This song is about living in LA for too long and realizing that you are turning into the type of person that you used to complain about. It’s about bad habits and self awareness and surrender.”
Bad TV was recorded and mixed at Verdugo Sound by Myers’ pal and co-producer Aaron Stern. Myers and Stern recorded her first record, Sensitive Groups, at the beginning of Pandemic in Stern’s then untreated garage.”
Tranquil Los Angeles indie-rocker Kath Myers displays herself candidly and with so much raw expression you cannot help but be completely drawn in. Myers’ haunting sound is pure seduction. Her frank messages are the ideal contrast to her mellow, warm tone creating a delicate honesty that will cut you to the core. Inspired by artists that add an enchanting air of humor to their work, she is influenced by greats such as Warren Zevon, Bill Callahan, David Berman and Liz Phair. Her sound, paired with her truthful tongue and cheek lyrics creates a wholly blissful listen. Myers admits, “It can be very therapeutic for me, when I’m in a dark place to somehow write a rather silly song based on those feelings. It can take some of the power away and make me realize that at the end of the day, they’re just that. Feelings. And the sad ones come and go, as well as the happy ones. So we may as well just have some laughs about all of it.
Hailing from the Lone Star state of Texas, born and raised in Houston, Coline Creuzot, a singer/songwriter has an astonishing voice. Coline fell in love with the arts at a young age and always knew she was destined for greatness. If it isn’t her dynamic personality or her creative drive, Coline’s angelic voice and her passion for music is captivating. Coline started off performing at local competitions and continued to write and sing throughout her high school and college career.
Coline is not only an incredible voice, but also a scholar. After the singer/songwriter turned boss woman completed her undergraduate degree in Business Management at Hampton University, she decided to move back to Houston to pursue music full time. During this time and while experiencing the growing pains of life, detailed in many of her autobiographical songs, Coline was introduced to Happy Perez, a fellow Houstonian and producer who has worked with Miguel, Mariah Carey and Frank Ocean to name a few. They collaborated on a song called, ‘Give and Take’, that went on to become an immediate hit. ‘Give and Take’ climbed all the way to number 1 on the Houston Radio Charts. The success of the song granted Coline opportunities to open for some amazing artists such as Drake, Keyshia Cole, Monica, Tank to name a few. She later attracted a publishing deal with EMI (now Sony ATV).
Coline continued to grow as an artist and writer expanding her portfolio. Named “an artist at the forefront” by Ebony Magazine, in 2016 Coline’s single ‘Truth Is’ peaked at number 24 on Billboard’s Urban A/C charts. Coline’s music has been recognized by several blogs and magazines such as Vibe Magazine, Pynk Magazine and Singersroom, critics praised her for her writing ability and solid resume working with some of H-Town’s hottest artists such as Slim Thug, Lil Keke, Z-Ro and Paul Wall.

Coline re-released “Truth Is” with a feature from the diamond princess Trina October 2019. Most recently Coline opened for Keyshia Cole, Tank, and K Michelle at the Arena Theater in Houston. Fresh from appearances at the 50th CMA Fest in Nashville, comes an exciting new release from Australian born, Nashville based country music sensation Seaforth. ‘Get The Girl’ (co-written with Rocky Block and Jordan Dozzi) once again features a strong, catchy hook heavy tone, staying true to Seaforth’s signature modern melodic sound.
‘Get The Girl’ blends country, pop and ‘80’s elements. It was born from personal experiences with a twist on love. This self-produced track marks this popular duo’s first independent release post Sony Nashville, a milestone in their journey.
“We’ve already achieved 400M+ streams globally and we are excited to continue building on this as a freshly independent act. We look forward to more releases this year leading up to our debut album”.
Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson are excited about their future. After an amicable parting of ways with Sony Nashville, which saw the move from their hometown of Sydney to Nashville in 2017, being signed, receiving multiple gold records and sharing the stage with major US country artists, festival appearances, international touring and most recently a headline US tour, the duo are now pumped to be commencing a new journey as independent artists.
“We’re more excited and driven than ever with this new chapter of independence. So much has happened in six years since we moved to Nashville at 23. Sony were great to us and supported us in tough times, but naturally our ambitions have grown/developed over time. We’ve never wanted to fit a mould, our goal has always been to create the best music possible, as we believe that’s what matters most to people.”
Australian audiences were rewarded with Seaforth’s first national tour in 2022, commencing with massive crowds at the Groundwater Country Music Festival on the Gold Coast to headlining shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Newcastle, and Sydney.
“Last year’s headline ‘About Time Tour’ through Australia was surreal. We usually come home to see family and relax, but to finally play shows felt amazing. We played to some of the best crowds we’ve ever play for. There’s no place like home and we can’t wait to come back again, potentially even later this year, but we’re still putting it together. Exciting times for the fellas”.
This new release has added to Seaforth’s growing catalogue of original songs that mix a melodic sound with modern organic production combined with storytelling elements of classic country. Expect more releases from this hit making duo in 2023 in the leadup to the release of their debut album.

This is the second single off the new EP that Yueku as released. The first single “Paradise” is out now.

Yet with your efforts, you still have the disappointing realization the other person simply doesn’t care the same way you do. Abby & I had the idea of comparing it to the writing of a novel. Specifically around the idea of “cliffhanger” endings or stories that make you want more even when you know there’s nothing more coming.”
From the Motor City suburbs to Music City, Tennessee, Yueku’s second album of infectious up-beat indie bops is full of his signature dazzling production, toe-tapping melodies, and even a twang of country flair. What’s your Myers-Briggs personality type? Anecdotally, we’ve noticed that there seems to be a tendency with this test which enables people to rely on their personality type to help them find out who they are, as opposed to discovering who they are through honest, authentic communication in their own lives. Hence our new song called “Coded Personalities.” In this world, everyone’s personality is a code that one must decipher to discover who they are.
Listen to “Coded Personalities” out now on streaming platforms everywhere.
“Coded Personalities” is inspired by the struggles that come with communication in a relationship. The song tells the story of a summer crush and the desperation in trying to figure out what they like and don’t like to try and get to know them better but disguising words and phrases to protect oneself, avoiding ultimately laying out any true feelings.
Being vulnerable and honest with someone is much more difficult than beating around the bush. These two people are trying desperately to connect but suffer a communication breakdown that inevitably leads to further self-discovery and the realization that learning more about yourself will help you learn more about others.
Thanks for listening,
Bealby Point
Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, musical soulmates Joshua “3FACE” Eagles and Cedrik “CEE” Aberle bring a unique, genre-bending approach to their self-described intergalactic sound that’s at once captivating and illuminating instrumentally and vocally. In an increasingly global society, the pair’s mission is to elevate consciousness while simultaneously shining a light on the homeland that continues to shape and mould their creativity.
“We like to be as spacey as possible, to lean on the psychedelic,” says 3FACE. “It’s about feeling like you’re floating in space while listening to music that feels good.” Adds CEE, “It’s a sci-fi type of sensation. When people listen to our music, we want them to feel like they’re getting stories from another world – but that are still real and relatable.”
The pair’s natural chemistry was kindled in high school over their mutual love of rap as well as classic R&B and pop from the 1980’s. “When we met each other, our creative skills immediately fused,” says CEE. “You can hear it in the vocals. 3FACE has a higher-pitched tone and mine are more melodramatic. It makes the songs very versatile and gives us a lot more ability to tell interesting stories.”
The vocal contrast – coupled with their ethereal yet melodic sound has propelled the duo’s local popularity. Now they’re setting their sights on growing a global fan base. “We’ve just been learning from each other; building each other up in terms of writing and production,” says 3FACE. “We’ve elevated ourselves and got really comfortable with our sound to create a new type of hip-hop fusion that we’re hooked on.”
3FACE & CEE are currently in the studio writing and recording songs for a new album. The duo has been collaborating with award-winning producers D’Mile (H.E.R., Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Lucky Daye and others), Larrance “Rance” Dopson, from the legendary 1500 or Nothin’ (Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Snoop Dagg and Saweetie) and J.R. Rotem (Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Rick Ross, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Sean Kingston and others).
As for what music fans can expect, 3FACE notes, “Our idea is to give people a three-minute portal to a different world that they could live in.”

Canadian folk/country artist Sarah Jane Scouten shares her sweet, wistful track & visualizer “Wilder When I Was With You” out everywhere now. The nostalgia-soaked track recalls a simpler time of growing up, young love and carefree summers. This July, Scouten will perform live around The Yukon and Vancouver, BC with tickets on sale now via sarahjanescouten.com/tour.
Out today, “Wilder When I Was With You” captures the joy and freedom of growing up and getting in trouble. Co-written with Samantha Parton of The BeGood Tanyas, who also grew up on the West Coast of Canada, the track took shape after a short voice memo Parton sent Scouten of the hook. “She sent me a little voice memo with the warbling hook, ‘Whoa, I was wilder when I was with you’ and I just filled in the rest,” recalls Scouten.
The track paints a picture of Scouten’s own laid-back summer nights, driving in old cars and sitting in rowboats under the stars. Scouten continues, “Where I grew up, we used to ride around in rattly old cars during the summer on Bowen Island, in the back of pick up trucks or Jeeps with no doors. We used to take rowboats off the beach at night just to watch the phosphorescence in the August sea waters trail behind the boat and around the oars. The song contains a series of memories tied together by two made up young characters falling in love.”

Birthh continues, “The chorus had no tension, just release, the beat was open and euphoric and it sounded just like my heart.”

That’s how I want to love you.” Sonically, Birthh adds, “The string section in this song is how you make me feel. Feeling like I’m cruising over Italy on a warm sunny day.”

Equal parts sweet, devastating, and serenading, the Weatherman EP dabbles in retro influences while sounding very much ahead of its time – a sound that has become the burgeoning superstar’s calling card. “All of my songs are about major moments and memories in my life,” Eddie says. “That’s what drives my music—it’s a constant flow of colors and intense, sometimes terrifying emotions.”
The story opens with the soulful lead single and title track “Weatherman.” On it, the artist makes his mission statement clear: “Go tell the weatherman I said, I want it sunny outside today.” The song demands blue skies and sunshine — an uplifting ray of hope in a tumultuous era. It kicked of excitement for the project last year, receiving acclaim and attention from publications such as Rolling Stone with TIME calling it “one of the best songs of the year so far.”
Elsewhere, the previously shared “All for Nothing” pairs lush piano and psychedelic guitar solos and the collaboration “Only You” [feat. Alessia Cara] offers a slinky R&B knockout of a love song over chirping flute flourishes in vivid detail. Billboard praised how “Cara and Benjamin’s voices blend beautifully as they sing about an imperfect romance” while Variety raved that it “proves Benjamin is a formidable duet partner with its breezy melody and inward-facing lyricism.” Most recently, Eddie delivered “Stargirl,” a kaleidoscopic sonic adventure that is about “an appreciation to be able to sit above the war zone of existing,” as he told Uproxx in a recent sprawling profile.
The multi-layered production on Weatherman was handled by Kid Culture in collaboration with Eddie himself, and mixed by the legendary Mike Dean (Beyoncé, Travis Scott, The Weeknd). Eddie wrote every song alongside Kid Culture, with some co-writes including Mike Sabath and Alex Salibian [Harry Styles]. Check out the full tracklisting below. Additionally, the EP’s cover art was designed by visual artist Sam Shawzin, a mentee of Jeff Koons.
Rising hip-hop artist and female powerhouse, Wowashwow, has released her sophomore album, The Algorithm, today. This body of work is a testament to Wowashwow’s ability to blend her punk rock heritage, eccentric indie hip-hop vibes, freestyle rap finesse, and a fearless approach to “obliterating the pop formula.” The result is a genre-fluid experience that defies categorization. Produced by Sam J Garfield, The Algorithm challenges the premeditated and quantified nature of algorithms that govern online society and social media-crazed humankind, and it seeks to shatter the rules and bring back the magic and essence of art, music, and creativity. Wowashwow elaborates; “I called it The Algorithm because it’s such a juxtaposition from my 1st to 2nd album. While creating my 1st album the thought process was, is this going to work for IG Reels or TikTok? I mostly thought about the marketing and how to feed the algorithm. This time around I completely morphed myself away from that and got back to my roots of creatingmusic that makes me happy. Even with the album artwork, I’m half android morphing back into a human. It represents me coming back into who I am as a person, rather than being a person doing anything to stay relevant.”

In addition to the unveiling of the Freshman Class of 2023, XXL shared via their website “Staying true to XXL’s yearly tradition, the Freshman class for 2023 was selected based on the artists’ undeniable impact. Within every pivot hip-hop has experienced over the years, a crop of rising individuals proudly reach for and tightly grasp the baton. Narrowing down over 80 artists this year to 12, these talents have not only been the cream that has risen to the top, but serve as a representation of the current pulse of this year’s sound: inimitable, eclectic, vibe-y, nostalgic and damn good.”
Drea & The Marilyns release an introspective new album, “Sad Songs You Can Dance To,” out on July 13, 2023. Fronted by Seattle-based musician Drea Marilyn, the project was an opportunity to return to creating music between friends, resulting in an album that centers around grief, struggling with mental health, and the importance of play. It was a three-year project that struggled to find its footing throughout the pandemic and finally came together in the latter part of 2022. Recorded at Blue Flame Studio by Matt Clifford, Monroe, North of Seattle, it features the band’s quintessential layered vocals and a unique mix of jazz, ska, and indie pop, crafting a perfectly impressive representation of the musicians themselves.
The intro track, “Bed Of Ashes,” launches the album with a delightfully positive instrumentation. Backed by the trumpet and cello, it’s an amped-up song about setting boundaries. The retro feel is awash with layers of harmonies and a funky, cool sonic atmosphere that just keeps giving. The part of the album that leans into remembering how to play starts with the fun and festive “Jacaranda.” All about the urge to run away with someone and sink into the sweetness — it’s wrapped in Johnny Cash vibes and a two-step beat you can’t help but move to. As she croons, “good times weren’t built to last…” the track fades away with nothing but positive thoughts remaining.
Things start soft and quiet on the tentative track “Motions.” Marilyn reflects on her desire to speak her mind but not knowing how as the music grooves around her contemplative vocals. The beautiful brass notes meld beneath a jazzy melody before bursting with a fiery rock rhythm and booming bass. It captures the feeling of bottling it all up just to let it explode in the end. On the single “Paper Boats,” the band morphs into an indie-pop atmosphere that floats along like a boat adrift on the water. The aquatic vibes traverse the rhythmic atmosphere and create a track that’s easy to get lost in, despite a story about being lost in a storm.
We venture back into the world of play and fun on “Spicy Talk,” a track all about wanting to do something you shouldn’t. It’s a theme song for anyone that finds themselves trying to avoid trouble. Bossa nova beats, and flirty indie pop sounds drive the track forward with finesse and merriment. On “Sun & Moon,” the band returns to a track they recorded in the past, this time doing it the way it was intended. Orchestrated by Phil Peterson (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran), it’s a somber deep dive into the ache of a long-distance relationship. Starting with a harrowing string line, listeners sink in the heartache as the instrumentation billows and burns beneath Marilyn’s emotive vocals.
Philly-born artist Fridayy was unveiled as a XXL Class of 2023 Freshman—cementing his artist-to-watch status. The acclaim exemplifies his trifecta force in artistry, crafting genre-defying music with a R&B melody and Rap flare. Keeping the momentum at a sky-scraping magnitude, Fridayy releases the official music video for “Don’t Give It Away” featuring Chris Brown via Def Jam Recordings today. Watch HERE and listen HERE.
On “Don’t Give It Away” – the first from Fridayy’s forthcoming debut LP – a slick guitar loop snakes around a glitchy beat. Fridayy leans into the groove as he reminds, “Shorty, you know you can have it your way.” Directed by The.97 [Roy Woods], the music video finds Fridayy and Brown together in a casino, careful not to disclose their feelings too early. His simmering delivery bubbles into a fiery falsetto only for Breezy to roll through with an equally hypnotic cameo. Together, they deliver what promises to be the summer’s most undeniable up-tempo R&B anthem. The single has already garnered over 4+ million streams on Spotify solely, since its release earlier this month, made a debut on the Hot R&B Songs chart at #22 last week via Billboard and received an array of press praise, including highlights from XXL and VIBE Magazine to Rap Radar & Hot New Hip Hop.
Following an open-heart surgery procedure just seven months ago, Lost Desert makes his highly celebrated return to the All Day I Dream imprint to release Lost Desert & Friends III, the third installment of the iconic EP series. The four track EP features collaborations with label head Lee Burridge, Junior Akwety, and Madraas and Sofiya Nzau, before Lost Desert closes the body of work with a very special solo composition.
Lost Desert has a very rich history with All Day I Dream. On top of the plethora of legendary solo EPs, collaborations, remixes, compilation contributions, and All Day I Dream event performances under his belt, Lost Desert has previously released two Lost Desert & Friends EPs on the label in 2020 and 2021, showcasing collaborations between himself and a carefully curated group of friends.
At the end of 2022, Lost Desert was forced to put music on hold in order to address some serious health challenges, and underwent an open-heart surgery procedure. There were many challenging moments during Lost Desert’s recovery process back to good health, without much clarity if and when he would be able to resume his lifelong passion of writing, recording, and performing music. There were a few ideas for tracks that Lost Desert had started to formulate before the surgery which he feared he may never have the time or strength to complete. However, with the support of his friends, Lost Desert has made a truly spectacular recovery, finishing those track ideas into the body of work that is now Lost Desert & Friends III.
New York-based alt-pop singer and songwriter Rachel Bochner returns with her new alt-pop anthem,”Here For The Drama,” out on all streaming platforms today.
Contrasting Rachel’s sweet melodies with deliciously distorted guitars, “Here For The Drama” is as dramatic as the title suggests. “Sometimes my life feels like a chaotic reality TV show, and ‘Here For The Drama’ is the perfect theme song,” Rachel quips.
She continues, “I wrote it as a reminder than when life gets messy, sometimes it can be more fun to lean in, embrace it, and enjoy the show. From questionable decisions like texts we wish we could unsend, or the round of tequila shots that nobody needed, it’s a song that celebrates being young and stupid.”
“Here For The Drama” follows recent singles like “Sucker Punch” and “If I’m Gunna Be Sad (I Might As Well Look Hot Doing It)” and offers a taste of what listeners can expect from Rachel’s upcoming EP, It’s Not Me, It’s U. The new EP, which will be out later this Summer, sees Rachel rising from the ashes of heartbreak and delivering a concoction of songs that dance between vulnerable, melancholic, energetic, and playful. “When people hear these songs, I want them to know it’s okay to feel their feelings, to find humor even in the darkness, and to remember that we have the power to define our own self worth,” she adds.
Cardiff’s PIGEON WIGS are back with the stomping, Stones-y new single: “Radiation Blues”; the latest track to be taken from the quintet’s brand new mini-album ‘Rock By Numbers’ (out 7 July via Clwb Music).

With its rough-cut ‘70s stylings, lurching electric guitar riffs, and coarse vocal howls,“Radiation Blues” pays homage to the rock greats that inspired Pigeon Wigs in their formative years, while pausing for reflection on one of the most significant man-made disasters in recent times.
Creating a microcosm of the events of the Chernobyl disaster that shook the world in 1986, vocalist Harry Franklin-Williams explains of the unusual subject matter behind their latest single:
“Lyrically the song is a play-by-play of the Chernobyl disaster. I read accounts of people involved and used that as a way of retelling the story of this awful event through a more easily digestible medium. Hopefully I’ve done the event justice and been respectful to those involved. It’s such a massively intense subject so I think the harder, more classic bluesy rock approach was a good framing device.”
Fast rising, alt pop newcomer Coupdekat releases her hotly anticipated EP *FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY*.
A playful and forward-thinking body of work set across six tracks, *FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY* explores sexuality, identity, adulthood and empowerment. Mixing live and electronic instruments with internet samples, Coupdekat explores the idea of the real world and the virtual world colliding.

Delving into the complexities of relationships Coupdekat sings “If only for the night will you pretend that you miss me” in a relatable and heartfelt bid to seek a lover’s reassurance.
Instrumentally combining cyber style synths with breakbeats, the second track from the EP, ‘BABYTEEF’ takes inspiration from The 1975’s album ‘Give Yourself A Try’ – a project that Coupdekat sites as ‘the soundtrack to her teenage years’. The tracks bouncy production lays the perfect foundation for her recognisable honey-eyed vocals as they crescendo into the tracks hook-filled choruses. Single “Superglue” emerges as a bright and dreamy bedroom pop gem, Kat’s effortless tone paints a vivid picture of the frantic highs and emotive lows of young love. On “It’s not you!” playful vocal melodies sit upon futuristic
pop production, laced with lo-fi backing vocals and chanting choruses as the young creative continues to solidify her empowering yet tongue-in-cheek style, as she sings “I can’t decide what I like, but it’s not you”, asserting herself and what she wants.
Speaking on the EP Coupdekat says: “I wanted to create an EP that represents me and the world my generation lives in, and all the madness that comes with growing up in it, something that feels immediately familiar on first listen.”
