Entertainment Weekly has given a first look at Lisa Frankenstein, the directorial debut of Zelda Williams. Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams, is releasing the horror comedy about a girl who loves a reanimated boy early next year.
“It’s a coming-of-rage love story about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness … and a few missing body parts along the way”, reads the synopsis.
The film stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Carla Gugino, Liza Soberano, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry.
