Lionsgate has dropped the trailer for How the Gringo Stole Christmas, its newest family holiday comedy, starring George Lopez. The film will make its debut on December 1 in theaters.
“Meet the Fockers meets All About My Father in this irresistibly funny holiday comedy,” reads the synopsis. “The film follows Bennie, who’s eagerly anticipating the arrival of his daughter Claudia at his Mexican-Hispanic-American-Chicano Christmas party in East L.A. But Bennie gets a heart attack of a surprise when Claudia appears from New York with her new boyfriend, Leif — an uninvited gringo. As cultures clash, Bennie’s holiday party becomes a dysfunctional family Christmas to remember!”
