Reeves adds four new tracks to the original effort, sure to put fans in the holiday spirit. Listen to More The Merrier (Deluxe Edition) HERE.

On the heels of her new studio album, Best Days, pop artist and songwriter Sarah Reeves ushers in the holiday season with More The Merrier (Deluxe Edition), a deluxe edition of her 2021 yuletide effort. The extended version builds on the nostalgia Reeves brought to the initial release. Furthermore, she adds four all-new selections, putting a jazzy, Big Band stamp on beloved seasonal classics like “Last Christmas” and “Holly Jolly Christmas,” and offering a bittersweet moment of grief with “Christmas Feels Different This Year.”

Previewing More The Merrier (Deluxe Edition), Reeves offers a bittersweet moment of grief with “Christmas Feels Different This Year,” released 10/27, an original selection that finds the in-demand songwriter and pop artist missing a loved one who is noticeably absent from the annual holiday festivities. Magnifying a sentiment everyone can undeniably relate to; the plaintive ballad recognizes the sweetness of the season while simultaneously acknowledging the swirl of emotions that come with it.

Breakout Irish act Four Faces release their final single of the year in new uplifting indie folk rock anthem ‘The Circle’. The song echoes strong sentiments of friendship and comradery and is accompanied by a musical arrangement that delicately builds in energy and intent throughout. ‘The Circle’ is the final instalment of musical releases in a year which saw Four Faces release two well received singles in ‘Old Scars’ and ‘Better Option’ as well as performing to sold out crowds in The Workman’s Club. The release of ‘The Circle’ is surely set to help build momentum for the band who are now preparing to support Damien Dempsey on 15th December in Mandela Hall, Belfast and 22nd December in Vicar Street, Dublin as well as set them up for what is shaping up to be a busy 2024.

On the song, Dan Ffrench writes “We had been going through a patch of life changing events around the time this track came to the surface. We lost loved ones, relationships ended and there were  a number of moments when we all felt isolated in the rehearsal room, picking up the pieces.

We found solace in words of reassurance and continued to crack on and make music out of distraction to escape very real world problems. Looking back now, an unbreakable bond was formed in that space that became much more than four college friends looking to pursue the dream of making music for a living.

The Circle was written from the instinctual nature of survival. When one of our tribe was wounded, it was to us to come around that person and carry each one through. The fire representing the pain of our own experiences, the circle symbolising the brotherhood formed around each other, arm in arm, staring directly into that pain. We were all that we had and we never thought that this song was going to see light after recording.  We now have instrumental people in our corner telling us that it’s the right time for people to hear it.

It was a song that was written in the space of two days. We wrote the verses and choruses in one session, and I went back and quickly penned the words directly after that rehearsal and sent them to Diarmuid, Tommy & Eoin. We hope that The Circle helps listeners during a difficult patch, with your own circle forming around your fire the way it did for us.”

The Circle was produced by Four Faces, recorded by Thomas McGovern at Black Mountain Studios and mixed/mastered by Aidan Cunningham.

Born out of the relentless winter months of the Pacific Northwest — where Christmas sweaters adorn even the animal statues — this holiday record hits different.

The Portland Cello Project, known for their delightful and dedicated performances of modern and classical music (previously taking on the music of Radiohead and having collaborated with the likes of Thao Nguyen, as examples), join forces with Prince’s New Power Generation alum vocal powerhouse Saeeda Wright to bring a complement of uniquely arranged holiday jams.

Elsewhere on the album, there’s  a playful “What are you Doing for New Years Even?”, to  stunning classical instrumental versions of “O Holy Night” and “Winter Wonderland,” the latter featuring modern jazz great and fellow Portlander, Farnell Newton, on the trumpet.

The record is a showcase of cross-genre collaborative arrangement, coming from a three-way synergistic connection between the group’s longtime drummer and another Prince alum, Tyrone Hendrix (Prince, Stevie Wonder, Allen Stone), the group’s new pianist and multi-instrumentalist, Alex Milsted (Stevie Wonder, Liv Warfield, Mike Phillips), and The Cello Project’s Artistic Director and longtime arranger (with over a thousand string arrangements to his credit for the group), Douglas Jenkins.

Produced and written by Jeff himself with additional production from Jonathan Dolese, The Good Kind continues to build on the bands signature sound that was introduced with their self titled EP last year. Packed full of emotionally devastating Pop-Rock, the EP takes listeners through Jeff’s internal battles as he came face to face with two paths he needed choose between — one of wanting to keep his dream of being an artist alive and pursuing that passion and the other of recognizing that he has to conform to the capitalistic world that we live in and make enough money to be able to survive. The realities of the world can be incredibly overwhelming when we are trying to pursue something that might not necessarily fit the mold of what is deemed to be a “steady” job, but the fight to keep our dreams and passions alive will always be worthwhile.

rock band GXTP have released the music video for their latest single “Lust & Purity,” off their debut album Smoke & Mirrors, out now. An anthemic track backed by a driving drum beat and dynamic guitar riffs, “Lust & Purity” encourages listeners to allow the darkness and light within themselves to co-exist. The accompanying visual, inspired by classic 90s films like Small Soldiersand Toy Story, is an action-packed journey seen through a pint-sized lens where viewers are taken inside a toy box as GXTP come to life as action figures. Finding themselves in a battle against a sinister chimp and feisty devil plotting their demise, the group must work together, with the help of actor David Arquette, to take them down. Check out the premiere of “Lust & Purity” on New Noise Magazine here!

This Is Love. The Primavera Sound 2024 lineup is unveiled and festival’s love is spreading out in all directions. Can’t you feel it? Love for its own history, reflected in the retro graphic image that accompanies the release, successor to the flyer on which the magic words were first conjured up: Primavera Sound. It was in 1994, seven years before the first official edition of the festival, on the occasion of a series of concerts in the venue KGB in Barcelona. Love for Barcelona itself, where it all began and where it all comes back to, the absolute protagonist of the video with which the lineup is presented. Watching it means starting to get to know the 150 names announced, but also taking a stroll through some of the city’s most iconic spots. And of course, above all, love for the Primavera community because this lineup is undeniably a gift for fans of the festival. It is being delivered now, but we still have to wait a little while before we can fully enjoy it. We have six months ahead of us to start imagining everything that will happen from the 29th of May to the 2nd of June at Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024.

The 22nd edition of the festival brings back the format of a weekend based in Barcelona, and even so the music on offer is once again overflowing. Each artist, each band is important, but also the sum of them all. It is therefore just as stimulating to closely scrutinise every detail and particularity of this heterogeneous and inclusive line-up as it is to take a couple of steps back and get a bit of perspective. Zoom in, zoom out. But haven’t we agreed that this lineup is a gift? Well, let’s unwrap it and discover that, in essence, what this is all about is the love of music.

Girls to the front! The fact that the exceptional has become normal at Primavera Sound doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t continue to highlight something that on a global level is an anomaly. The lineup for the next edition of Primavera Sound once again puts us before a commitment to equality (42.36% women, 42.36% men and 15.28% mixed projects), a hallmark of the festival since the historic 2019 edition, which for the first time balanced the gender distribution. A precedent that now brings us here: Lana Del Rey and SZA will headline Primavera Sound 2024 on their own merits. The former, firmly established as the great chronicler of American music of this century; the latter, a generational talent who has gone beyond the limits of R&B, will offer her first show in Spain. “Girls to the front!”, as Kathleen Hanna demanded at the beginning of the 90s in her concerts. Hanna and her band, Bikini Kill, will also be at Primavera Sound 2024 to continue showing us how it is done.

Say Yes to Heaven – are hashtags still used in 2023? Because #bestfestivalever is more relevant than ever. Pulp will return to Jarvis Cocker’s favourite festival with their collection of out-of-the-ordinary anthems, Vampire Weekend will reunite with the audience they have grown up with sixteen years after their first and only performance at the Parc del Fòrum, The National will open the doors to that discography where we feel totally at home, Mitski will show that she is already much more than a cult singer-songwriter, PJ Harvey will split into all the different PJ Harveys she hides inside, Justice will throw their party with a French touch, FKA twigs will mark out the steps of her new choreographies, Deftones will light their nu metal fuse, Charli XCX will present her new era and Troye Sivan will confirm his pop explosion to turn Barcelona into the world’s music capital for a few days. Long-awaited returns, wishes come true, crowd favourites and scores settled: in short, as we’ve already said, a treat for fans.

Anamoe Drive is the solo moniker of songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Oisín Leahy Furlong. Fresh off the heels of the first track “Goodbye & Goodluck” garnering attention for its distinct brand of lo-fi indie meets alt folk, Anamoe Drive has just announced the debut album “Breakfast in Bed” due March 2024 on Faction Records. This news also comes with the announcement of the second single “Out Like a Light” dropping on Nov 23rd, and a string of Irish dates that go on sale Nov 24th.

Scheduled for release on Thursday, November 23rd, “Out Like A Light” takes listeners on a synth-laden journey of perpetual motion, told ironically through a series of still vignettes. Each verse ‘wakes up’ in a new place, the narrator lamenting and reflecting on the decisions that led them there. Dreamlike synths wash over a childlike melody, while a repetitive rhythm section pulls together a mood that sits somewhere between Nirvana Unplugged, My Bloody Valentine, and Real Estate. As the narrative of “Out Like A Light” progresses, it transitions from reality to dream, building up to a crescendo of pure fantasy. The final distorted coda (which contains elements of the original iPhone demo) strips the song down to its bare bones, revealing the lo-fi folk song at its center.

Where “Goodbye & Goodluck” established Anamoe Drive as a project that blurs the lines between genres, “Out Like a Light” doubles down on this idea – all the while committing to an uncanny pop sensibility. Anamoe Drive’s musical evolution, guided by producer Rian Trench (known for his work with Saint Sister, J. Colleran, Gnod), showcases experimentation and spontaneous first takes peppered over a bedrock of airtight pop songwriting and arrangements, as indebted to Daniel Johnston as they are to The Beatles. The result is a sonic tapestry that captures a confidence and authenticity offset by lyrical themes of vulnerability and heartbreak.

The “Breakfast in Bed” LP due March 8th is a breakup album told in 3 parts. The non-linear narrative flits between the throes of heartbreak to the bliss of new love, from the depths of loneliness to the slow dissipating of these feelings in the rearview mirror. The album’s title reflects different meanings depending on which song you view it through – from a kind gesture to a lonely act, to the masticating of these themes in solitude. It also doubles as the place where most of these songs were written – perched on a bed, the morning after the night before, recapping these events in song.

With influences ranging from Big Thief to Thom Yorke, Phoebe Bridgers to Mount Eerie, or Sparklehorse to Bright Eyes, Anamoe Drive brings a fresh perspective to indie folk, and “Breakfast in Bed” is a testament to the artist’s ability to craft emotionally charged, introspective songs that leave a lasting impact.

West London via New York emerging artist, Skye Houston, is back with a fresh single titled “Company” — a dynamic blend of R&B and pop that sets the perfect tone for late nights with friends or tearing up the dance floor. Drawing inspiration from the influential 2000s pop era, Skye Houston explores the intricacies of love, navigating the fine line between making choices for long-term benefits and succumbing to the immediate allure of desires. Her vocals effortlessly traverse genres, and New York-based producer Spacey Kay, recognized for collaborations with industry heavyweights like Juice World, Fetty Wap, Azealia Banks, and Soulja Boy, showcases his prowess by seamlessly transforming a smooth R&B slice into an ambitious West London club anthem.

“Company” comes with an official music video that gives a unique twist to the track’s narrative through visuals that embody Skye Houston’s free-spirited energy. The video provides a cinematic experience featuring moments like a leisurely beach stroll, a dreamy picnic setting, and a passionate performance scene where the emerging artist vividly conveys the internal struggle between heart and mind. It’s a raw and honest portrayal that immerses viewers in a captivating journey through the emotional landscape of Skye Houston’s soul; like a meticulously crafted visual poem, skillfully blending scenes that mirror the ebb and flow of the song’s lyrical intensity.

Vocal powerhouse Vince Freeman has announced his long-awaited debut album; the painfully honest, life-richly-lived world of Scars, Ghosts & Glory will be available March 2024.

With the announcement comes “Powers,” the deeply empowering first offering from the record, out today. A gospel-infused anthem of thanks and defiance, positivity and optimism, “Powers” showcases both Freeman’s soulful rasp and his faith in the power of song. From his journey as industry tastemaker to prime-time musical acclaim then complete contentment, Vince Freeman’s got the power.

LISTEN TO “POWERS” HERE

Freeman said: “I think that if you’re told, ‘No’ OR ‘You’re the wrong fit’ enough times, it’s hard not to start believing it. That was definitely me, and I didn’t even know it. If someone was to tell me that I would be releasing my music to the world 2 years ago I would have laughed. I hadn’t given up, I was just being realistic. I was nearly bankrupt, running a small horse box coffee business to try and pay the mortgage during the pandemic and not doing much in the way of music.

This all changed when I got a new record deal. Just that small thing, that ‘YES,’ that ‘You are good enough’ changed me and as a result started this journey. I woke up the next morning and wrote ‘Powers’ and I am so excited that ‘Powers’ is going to be the first single that the world gets to hear. ‘Powers’ is about my realisation that I had been searching for something that I always had. The power is in me.”

In the accompanying music video, directed by Moss Davis and produced by Singularity Film, Freeman is seen liberated, immersing himself in open water. With shots cut to intimate family moments and a transformative performance in a local bar, everything about “Powers” feels life affirming.

ringleaders and havoc seekers of SoCal’s surf-rock scene, Sun Room, unleash their new EP At Least I Tried. Barreling in at just over 10 minutes, the four tracks are fast, loud, and lyrically unphased. This EP represents the band letting listeners have an unaltered view of their garage jams and unruly show antics. The majority of At Least I Tried was produced by one of Sun Room’s biggest influences growing up in the California DIY scene, Zac Carper of FIDLAR – Stream.

Kicking off with “At Least I Tried,” a track described by frontman Luke Asgian as “finding fun in the chaos of life and being in a touring band,” Sun Room makes it known that they expect for nothing to go right, but you laugh at it and roll on. He also shares that the next song “Cut My Hair” is “about a summer fling that ends when Fall rolls around, the same time I usually cut my hair.” Again, expressing that sometimes things don’t go as planned, but you power through.

“Kicking Rocks” is the EP’s most laid back, beachy tune, allowing the listener to come up for a breath. But that brief respite quickly subsides to EP closer “Stuck In The Heat.” A metaphorical mic drop sealing the band’s year of explosive growth and unabashed antics, this is a song that you hear and immediately know it has to be Sun Room.

Asgian shares, “It feels like we’ve spent such a large portion of our lives on tour the past couple years, which we’re so stoked on, but it also makes you appreciate Southern California that much more. Whenever we’re on the road, I think we get such a sense of nostalgia for the culture down here and the sound of all the bands from the beach towns we grew up in. Spending so much time driving through farms in the Midwest on tour will really make you want to write something profoundly Californian.”

He continues, “Of course, we have other influences, but the garage rock scene that we all grew up on down here is so ingrained in us and I think that really shows on this EP, which we’re really proud of. The process of writing it was all during a summer at home in between surfs, in the garage. Even if we’re playing arenas one day, we’ll always jam in a garage. It would be really hard to write a Sun Room song in some multi-million dollar studio or rehearsal space.”

rising indie popstar Hayes Warner released an icy anti-holiday anthem “Worst Time of Year.” You can stream/download the new release HERE and watch its accompanying visualizer HERE directed by Frankie Fire.

With biting lyrics sprinkled with ironic jingling bells, “Worst Time of Year” paints a portrait of a protagonist who is abandoned by their significant other during the holidays, turning a warm, bright and romantic holiday season into a cold and bitter one. The accompanying visualizer, directed by Frankie Fire, takes fans on a journey as the NYC-native belts out her resentment while trudging around her festive hometown and begrudgingly sits down with a fake smile for uncomfortable family holiday photos. Watch the visualizer HERE.

“I wanted to write a seasonal holiday song and tried to apply my own unique spin on classics like ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Silent Night’ but nothing really felt authentic to me. It wasn’t until I opened up about how I genuinely feel about the holidays that I started writing “Worst Time of Year,” said the rising pop star. “I respect that people have love for the holiday season but wanted to recognize that there are people out there who struggle during this time of year.  “Worst Time of Year” came about when I finally honest with myself about my holiday feelings – the forced cheer and the pressure to appear perfect.  I’m really proud of this song beyond it being just a holiday song, and I hope people can resonate with it year-round.”

Hayes has left an impressive footprint on the industry over the past year – signing a publishing deal with Daniel Glass of Glassnote Records, opening for Flo Rida and Fetty Wap, being named one of PEOPLE’s 2023 Emerging Artists to Watch, and more. “Worst Time of Year” comes off the heels of  Hayes’ debut single, “Breadcrumbs,” which has taken social media and fans by storm generating millions of views and attracting mega-influencer Loren Gray who partnered with the singer-songwriter for an official collaboration HERE

Toronto-based Breeze are back with their highly anticipated album, “Sour Grapes,” set to release December 8, 2023 through Hand Drawn Dracula Records. The album delivers a distinctive 90s-inspired sound that explores the complexity of relationships and builds upon the brit-pop new-wave sound that garnered critical acclaim for their 2021 release, “Only Up,” praised by the likes of CBC Music, Stereogum, and NPR.

“Sour Grapes” represents an exciting direction for Breeze, capturing the essence of their evolution as a band. Originally a solo project helmed by renowned producer Josh Korody (known for his work with Tess Parks, Dilly Dally, Fucked Up, Weaves), Breeze has since transformed into a five piece following their debut performance on KEXP Live At Home Session. The album was recorded and meticulously crafted by Korody at his Candle Recording studio, with additional recording at Hotel 2 Tango alongside Shae Brossard, and mastering by Mark Gardiner (of RIDE) at OX4Sound studio.

On album opener “You’ve Decided,” Breeze employs a charmingly frenetic interplay of guitar and piano, think The Style Council and Black Grape, scored over a lyrical confrontation demanding accountability. The track sets the tone for the album’s duality of serving up-beat driven melodies mirroring tenuous conversations and relationships.

The pace and vibrant energy carries through on “Ready For Love” with Korody’s emotive vocal pleas tugging at heartstrings while the cascading rhythm effortlessly sways the dance floor, evoking the bravado of Fontaines D.C. and the melancholy of The Human League. Recorded by the band at Montreal’s Hotel2Tango, the track was written by keyboardist James Kearns while sick with COVID then taken to a dramatic new level in the studio.

Breeze showcases their versatility with “Have You Ever Suffered,” an exploration of lo-fi beats and electronic post-punk blending into a raw and energetic composition. Korody’s poetic prowess builds with the intensity of the band’s powerful percussion. Hopping back on the saddle for the fifth edition, Outriders Present reveals the lineup for the highly anticipated Under The Big Sky Music, Rodeo & Roundup Festival. The three-day event will be held at the panoramic 360-acre Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, MT on July 12-14, 2024 where it will once again showcase a powerful and diverse roster of star-studded performances across Americana, Outlaw country, rock, indie-folk, and bluegrass music. Headlining performances include the legendary icon Miranda Lambert, and the return of Billy Strings and Turnpike Troubadours.

Only 30 miles south of the Canadian Border, located in Flathead Valley only minutes away in the heart of Whitefish’s charming downtown village, attendees will immerse themselves in the rich beauties of the American West on a working ranch with green meadows, railroads and breathtaking backdrops. Guests have the option to shop in the vendor crossroads and mercantile row or visit the local tattoo shop. Attendees can indulge in local craft beer and artisanal eats like the popular Wagyu Wagon food truck that caters locally raised beef from the area. Other fun family attractions include horse rides and an adorable petting zoo.

The festival headliners include country music superstar, Miranda Lambert; one of the most much-buzzed-about returns of Americana roots’ leading acts Turnpike Troubadours; and the GRAMMY award-winning bluegrass strings musician, Billy Strings. Complementing the headliners include noteworthy talent like 2023 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Tanya Tucker; country music duo, Brothers Osborne; spellbinding singer/songwriter, Sierra Ferrell; the larger-than-life baritoned, Paul Cauthen; and the ruggedly raw American country-folk musician, Charles Wesley Godwin. Rounding out the lineup is tenderhearted Canadian singer, songwriter City & Colour, and the American five-piece indie rock band, Mt. Joy, plus many others.

SITA (style icon Sita Abellán) releases a new single, “XTASIS CARNAL,” via Héctor Oaks’ label KAOS. The new track is the second single off of her official debut EP, Generacion XDISIS, due out January 15, 2024.

“XTASIS CARNAL” (which translates to “CARNAL ECSTASY” in English) is a visceral concoction of SITA’s ultra-confident attitude, displayed through her mischievous lyrics and a vicious yet tantalizing bassline. She aligns with fellow Barcelona-based producer Cardopusher for the release, who in the past has worked with similar groundbreaking artists such as Arca and LSDXOXO. Like SITA, Cardopusher specializes in forward-thinking rave-inspired music. Together, they combine as a formidable duo, delivering dark, heavy, Eurodance-touched techno with a distinctly indulgent sound.

SITA vividly spins a lust-drenched tale on “XTASIS CARNAL” with lyrics like “No existe noche / No existe día / Solo el derroche de tu boca y la mía” (translation: “There is no night / There is no day / Only the waste of your mouth and mine”). Outfitted with her firmly established aesthetic through her previous creative projects in fashion and music, SITA is equipped to serve as a new type of storyteller in the realm of techno.

Kramer, the original Made to Rock Hard guitar brand has been setting trends with premium, performance-focused instruments since 1976. Kramer is proud to partner with Lzzy Halefrontwoman of the GRAMMY® Award-winning hard rock band Halestorm and Gibson’s first female brand ambassador–to release the new Kramer Lzzy Hale Voyager. The Kramer Lzzy Hale Voyager is now available worldwide at all authorized Kramer dealers and on www.KramerGuitars.com.

“Come meet this bonafide rockstar from outer space! I’m proud to introduce the most out of this world guitar I’ve ever had in my arsenal. Straight from my inner child, my signature Kramer Voyager is a tribute to my ferocity. Horns high, and sharp as lightning. This little alien creature dreams and screams big. She’s love at first flight…and you’ll never find another like her!”

Japanese voice artist Hatis Noit‘s first full-length album for international release,Aura, was released on UK label Erased Tapes (Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds) to widespread critical acclaim, and today she announces her upcoming EU winter tour and spring US tour dates. Dates include Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, as well as the 2024 edition of the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville this March. Tickets are available here.

Additionally, Aura will be re-released physically in North America ahead of her debut U.S. tour.

Hatis Noit has found fans in David Lynch, who selected her to perform at his 2019 Manchester International Festival showcase, and super-producer Rick Rubin, whose Showtime documentary series Shangri-La she appeared in.

Her track “Inori” was re-worked by American avant-garde composer William Basinski, while  “Thor” received a shamanic techno remix by legendary UK DJ and producer Matthew Herbert.

She’s been making waves on the European music festival circuit with appearances at Womad, Rewire, Le Guess Who?, Nextones, and Sea Change) , as well as worldwide with appearances at Mutek JP and Wonderfruit, amongst others— receiving standing ovations wherever she goes. As The Guardian put it in their Ones to Watch column: “has been moving audiences to tears.”

Most recently she appeared at Mutek Montréal, where she captivated a 1500-strong audience that jumped out of their chairs, including her now North American booking agent Michaël Bardier of Heavy Trip (Alessandro Cortini, Arooj Aftab, Caterina Barbieri, Colin Stetson).

indie-folk newcomer Asia Chow introduces listeners to a new side of her artistry with her debut single “Days Unchanged.” Delicate in instrumentation and guided by her lush, resonant voice, the song is a confessional tale of the sliding scales of time alone being seen as isolating or something to cherish – Stream

Preceded by her successful modeling career, Chow always felt the pull to create music. First picking up the guitar in high school, she typically kept her music making isolated to the confines of her bedroom. Like many of us, the global pandemic made her rethink a lot of things and come to the conclusion that she didn’t want to live a life without ever taking a serious swing at a music career. Fearing that her shyness made her seem closed off, music has always felt like her most direct form of communication.

Swiss folk-pop artist Mary Middlefield is proud to share her latest single “Atlantis”, available now across music platforms. The track follows October’s single “Sexless”.

“Atlantis” was recorded in Lausanne’s AKA Studio with Alexis Sudan. The sadistic love ballad explores the dilemma of being infatuated with a person who offers so little in return. Originally a stripped-down track, Mary Middlefield and producer Gwen Buord rearranged the second part with intricate ukulele arrangements. The two tweaked the track and added an underwater feel to add a more euphoric feel. Strings and synths were added to the song, making it sound dreamier and really embracing that folk/pop sound.

HOUSE OF EL’S latest release “The Start,” features Reuben James and CARRTOONS

This new track aims to cement House of EL’s standing as a trailblazer in the contemporary jazz scene, spotlighting the unmatched creativity and versatility inherent in his artistry.

“The Start” comes at a pivotal moment for House of EL, who recently celebrated the success of co-writing and producing Becky Hill’s “Disconnect,” which has now achieved Gold status.

Alongside his own releases, this accomplishment underscores House of EL’s remarkable ability to seamlessly navigate between crafting intricate jazz compositions and producing chart-topping dance hits.

Having diligently honed his craft behind the scenes, the artist is poised to take centre stage, with the added excitement of season jazz aficionados James and New York resident CARRTOONS – known for his work with Usher, Mac Ayres, and Nate Smith to name a few.

In a statement, House of EL expressed their excitement about the collaboration: “Reuben James and I, under the banner of ‘House of EL,’ are brothers in arms in the sonic underworld.

“We’ve been weaving our musical magic behind the scenes for quite some time, and it’s a thrill to finally unleash a creation into the world. Reuben, a true maestro, and I embarked on a UK tour, and this track emerged from the tapestry of our road adventures.

“There’s a Midlands heartbeat in this, a nod to the roots, with a twist of that timeless indie vibe.

“Carrtoons sprinkled his vibe too, but our aim was simple – raw, real, and a return to the primal. It’s about rediscovering that initial passion, whether it’s in your career, creative pursuit, or with a kindred spirit.

“There’s a universal resonance in the journey back to where the heart first danced and jumped with excitement, that’s ‘The Start’.”

Montao- Oh Holy Night!

Australian producer/DJ EDDIE releases his new single ‘UP/DOWN’ out now on Rezz’s label HypnoVizion

Unraveling with the off-kilter spirit that has made EDDIE one of HypnoVizion’s most promising talents, ‘UP/DOWN’ is a zealous midtempo arrangement befitting dark dance floors. On his latest HypnoVizion release, EDDIE crafts a mystifying soundscape filled with ominous, glitching tones and intriguing bass-heavy builds as a mechanical voice chants “up, down” throughout. A daring display of EDDIE’s risk-taking production style, ‘UP/DOWN’ is intensely captivating with its cybertronic edge.

“I am absolutely thrilled to finally release ‘UP/DOWN’! I’ve had about 4 different versions in different BPMs and styles, so I really took my time with this one. It’s a genuine EDDIE midtempo club banger. It started with a vocal idea I had written and had a friend (s/o “Yanzo”) do a take for me. From there, it was just fun experimenting!” – EDDIE
