The erotic drama Emmanuelle has officially wrapped production, with reports that Naomi watts has also joined the cast. As well as Watts, the cast includes Noémie Merlant, Will Sharpe, Jamie Campbell Bower, Chacha Huang and Anthony Wong.
The film is said to be inspired by the character and world created by writer Marayat Rollet-Andriane. She penned a voyage of sexual self-discovery across a series of books. The first book, titled Emmanuelle (or Emmanuelle: The Joys of a Woman) was originally released in 1967.
