‘Top Gun 3’ In The Works at Paramount With Tom Cruise, Glen Powell and Miles Teller Set To Return

Reports have emerged that Paramount is moving forward with Top Gun 3. Writer Ehren Kruger has been tapped to write a script for a sequel to Top Gun: Maverick, which will star Cruise, Glen Powell, and Miles Teller.

The news comes just a few days after Cruise announced he had signed a deal to develop, produce, and star in “original and franchise theatrical films” for Warner Bros. But it isn’t an exclusive deal, meaning he is still able to make films for other studios like Paramount.

Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison will both produce Top Gun 3.
