Sony Pictures Television Currently Developing A Reboot Of ‘Bewitched’

Deadline has reported that Sony Pictures Television is currently developing a Bewitched reboot series of the classic ’60s sitcom. The project comes from executive producer of the Prime Video series The Boys, Judalina Neira. She just recently signed a overall deal with Sony Pictures Television through her Famous Last Words Productions.

“Judalina joined the Sony family with her work on The Boys, and we are incredibly proud of her contributions to supporting creator Eric Kripke’s vision,” Sony Pictures TV executive Lauren Stein said in a statement. “She brings passion and authenticity and has been such a champion for the representation and growth of Latinx writers — we knew we had to make a deal with her! We are so excited to have her call Sony home and can’t wait for what is to come as we deepen our relationship.”

The Bewitched reboot will be written and executive produced by Neira.
