Deadline reports that Nicholas Pinnock has signed to lead alongside Amanda Seyfried in Peacock’s upcoming limited series adaptation of Long Bright River, based on a bestselling novel. Pinnock is reported to be playing the role of Truman Dawes.
“The miniseries tells the story of Mickey (Seyfried), a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case,” reads the logline.
