Variety reports that the popular 90’s series Baywatch is getting a new reboot from Fox. Fox and Fremantle have finalized a deal to create a new reboot series of Baywatch. The show will be helmed by showrunner Lara Olsen, who will also serve as an executive producer alongside Gregory J. Bonann and Douglas Schwartz.
“Daring ocean rescues, pristine beaches, and iconic red bathing suits are back, along with a whole new generation of Baywatch lifeguards, who navigate complicated, messy personal lives in this action-packed reboot that demonstrates there’s the family you’re born into and the family you find,” the official logline reads.
