‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Sequel Show Finally Gets Series Order, Selena Gomez and David Henrie Returning

After originally getting a pilot order, the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place sequel show has officially gotten a series order and heading to Disney+. Production on the follow-up is set to start in Los Angeles, and will see the return of cast members Selena Gomez and David Henrie. Gomez and Henrie will also be executive producing the show.

“Wizards of Waverly Place captivated hearts with its spellbinding adventures and big laughs, creating unforgettable memories for kids and families everywhere,” Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television stated. “We can’t wait to step back into the magical world of Wizards, inviting both longtime fans and a new generation to experience the enchantment alongside Selena, David and our incredible cast and crew.”
