Jessie Murph, Jelly Roll – ‘Wild Ones’: This is a song by American singers Jessie Murph and Jelly Roll, and is produced by Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, it is Murph’s highest-charting song, peaking at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. The beauty of this song is it blends elements of country and hip hop music.
Kylie Minogue – ‘Tension’: This song is by Australian singer Kylie Minogue. BMG Rights Management and Minogue’s company, Darenote, released it as the second single from her sixteenth studio album, Tension. Minogue co-wrote the song with Anya Jones, Camille Purrell, Jon Green, and producers Duck Blackwell and Richard “Biff” Stannard.
The Collection – ‘Medication’: Medication is the first single off indie/alt-pop band The Collection’s upcoming album. The multi-piece, based out of Saxapahaw, NC, has put out music independently since 2011 with the release of their debut self-titled EP, and have shared stages with The Oh Hellos, RIPE, and Sammy Rae & The Friends.
Angelo De Augustine – Time’ (feat. Sufjan Stevens): This song is taken from Angelo De Augustine’s new album Tomb. Theres a few versions of this song, one which features Stevens on piano, and a live version which features producer Thomas Bartlett a.k.a. Doveman instead of Sufjan.
Calum Scott – ‘Lighthouse’: Calum Scott dropped a action-packed video for this track, which shows a cinematic but emotionally raw portrait of survival, strength, and the life-saving power of love. Directed by Ben Newbury, the video for “Lighthouse” fully embodies the exhilarating spirit of the song.
Patient 113 – ‘Celia’: This is a bit of an indie song, but one I think is definitely worth the listen. It was released in 2022 but I heard this during a film and thought it was pretty captivating.
