A24 has recently announced the release dates for its upcoming new movies, something we’re quite excited for. Those 5 movies include, the psychological horror movie The Front Room with Brandy Norwood; black comedy thriller A Different Man with Sebastian Stan; the romantic movie We Live in Time starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh; the horror thriller Heretic starring Hugh Grant; and the erotic thriller Babygirl with Nicole Kidman.

So what do we know about these new films?

Directed by The Egger Brothers, The Front Room is scheduled to be released on September 6, 2024. It stars Brandy Norwood and Kathryn Hunter, which follows a newly pregnant couple forced to take in an ailing stepmother who has long been estranged from the family. It will be based on Susan Hill’s short story of the same name.

Set to arrive in cinemas on September 20, 2024, A Different Man is a black comedy thriller starring Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, and Adam Pearson. The official synopsis reads, “Aspiring actor Edward undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.”

We Live in Time is the new romantic drama starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh. It will debut in select theaters on October 11, 2024. It follows the story of an up-and-coming chef, whose life changes forever after a chance encounter with a recent divorcée.

Heretic is a horror thriller movie from writer-directors Scott Beck and Bryan Wood. It’s due to hit theatres on November 15, 2024. The film follows two young missionaries, who become ensnared in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse after they knock on the wrong front door. The cast includes Hugh Grant, Chloe East, and Sophie Thatcher.

Last but not least is Babygirl, an erotic thriller that’s set to premiere in theaters on December 20, 2024. It hails from writer-director Halina Reijn. The film will be led by Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Antonia Banderas, and Sophie Wilde. It centers around a high-powered CEO who puts her life’s work on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much younger intern.
