Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest have been signed on for the lead roles in Netflix’s new romance film My Oxford Year, based on Julia Whelan’s 2018 romance novel of the same name. The upcoming My Oxford Year movie will serve as Mylchreest’s feature-length acting debut.

“When Anna, an ambitious young American woman, sets out for Oxford University to fulfill a childhood dream, she has her life completely on track until she meets a charming and clever local who profoundly alters both of their lives,” reads the official synopsis.
