The trailer for Close to You has arrived, which stars Elliot Page, the film will arrive in theaters nationwide starting on August 16.
“Sam (Page) hasn’t been home since his transition. After four years in Toronto, he takes a long-dreaded trip back to his hometown for his father’s birthday. Once there, he confronts unresolved wounds and reconnects with an old flame,” reads the synopsis.
Close to You is written and directed by Dominic Savage, based on a story by Savage and Page.
