Nestled in the heart of Leederville, Luna Outdoor Cinema is Western Australia’s premier arthouse cinema, offering a unique and enchanting movie-going experience. As the sun sets, the Luna Outdoor transforms into a vibrant hub of cinematic delight, perfect for those warm summer nights.

We are happy to announce we are one of the official sponsors of Luna Outdoor’s 2024-2025 season which promises an eclectic mix of festival favorites, cult classics, and arthouse gems. The season kicks off with Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winning “ANORA”, a modern Cinderella story set in Brooklyn. Other highlights include:

  • “A REAL PAIN”: A Sundance sensation starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin.
  • “THE ROOM NEXT DOOR”: Pedro Almodovar’s lavish English-language debut featuring Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton.

The Luna Outdoor’s fully licensed courtyard garden provides the perfect setting to enjoy these cinematic wonders. Guests can savor a glass of Redbank King Valley Prosecco or indulge in a luxe cheeseboard. For those who prefer classic treats, the humble Choc-Bomb is always a favorite. The venue also offers a range of refreshing beers from Rocky Ridge Brewing Co. and delicious cocktails from Idle Hands Drinks Co. Picnics are welcome, but please note that BYO alcohol is not permitted.

Special Events and Screenings

The Luna Outdoor season is packed with special events and themed nights. Highlights include:

  • Opening Night Party: Celebrate the start of the season with “ANORA” on December 5th.
  • Pizza and Beer Nights: Enjoy “Queens of Concrete” with Siena’s Pizza on December 13th, and “Better Man” with a beer on December 15th.
